Technician only able to ""diagnose"" problem as ""hardware problem,"" which I already knew, but charged $90 diagnosis fee. Later, brought laptop to shop. Management said over phone that diagnosis was memory socket & could be fixed. When I called to check status, receptionists repeatedly said they were waiting for authorization to perform repairs, though I'd already given that (twice). Problem NOT fixed when I picked laptop up- immediately recognizable when I tried to turn it on, still in TS2U office. Receptionist totally unaware of memory socket repair, & paperwork provided had NO information about diagnosis or repairs. Computer also had NEW problems with keyboard. TS2U website says ""for $90 we will come to your home and diagnose your computer problem."" I paid $90 to ?diagnose? my computer problem, but think their diagnosis was wrong, If diagnosis was right, TS2U should have either fixed it, or told me they couldn't fix it. Instead TS2U told me that it was fixed when it wasn't, + caused new problems w/ keyboard. I tried to dispute $90 fee on my credit card, but couldn't b/c credit card company required documentation of TS2U's ""diagnosis."" But documentation from TS2U didn't give diagnosis or repair info (i.e. memory socket repair) in writing. I asked for refund of $90 diagnosis fee and/or diagnosis in writing. TS2U management argued at length, then said they'd call back, but never did. I emailed saying failure to call was unprofessional & that I would post a negative review. Another management person then emailed, called me ""CRAZY,"" & wrote ""You need help."" These insults confirm TS2U's lack of professionalism. TS2U finally did refund my $90, but overall my experience with TS2U was useless & huge hassle. Failed repairs, additional damage to computer, incomplete documentation, poor communication, uncooperative & ultimately insulting management. Seems like they have a LOT to learn about computers & customers. I would definitely not recommend patronizing them.
Pros: they finally did give me a refund
Cons: failed repairs, additional damage to computer, incomplete documentation, poor communication, uncooperative, unprofessional & ultimately insulting management
