I have always come out with absolutely beautiful hair, cut, color, and style. She always does everything, from the shampoo to the final style. Love her. Also great selection of products. Always offer me drinks, even wine! Pros: full line of spa services Cons: can only make evening appts 2x/week, and closed 2x/week more

Professional haircuts at a competitive price 10/15/2009

I saw a woman with a great haircut about three years ago and asked who did her hair. She told me Taylor Brooks and Brooke has been cutting my hair ever since. Brooke is excellent at her craft and colors my hair beautifully. She has a great salon which has a laid back feel within an upscale atmosphere. The prices are competitive and the staff are very nice. Amazing!!!! 8/22/2009

I love going to Taylor Brooks because of how nice they are from the moment I walk in to the moment I leave. I get my hair done by Amber and leave feeling so beautiful. They are so sweet always asking if I need anything. I get so many compliments on my hair and would refer everyone to see Amber. My experience has been great from day one.....thanks Taylor Brooks. going down hill... 6/8/2009

I have been going to taylor brooks for a while now and have always seen Brooke. Except for my initial visit, I feel as though I am an inconvenience even though I am the one paying top dollar prices. Once she has the color on my hair, I am left to sit, and then a timer goes off to let some one know to check my hair. Some times I sit for quite a while after it has gone off and worry that the color is going burn my scalp. Finally brooke will usually come and check my color, and then send me off with someone else to rinse it out. Also while I enjoy some salon gossip, brooke sometimes shares too much information that makes me feel uncomfortable. While she is out on maternity leave, I am going to be searching for a new salon, and will no longer recommend this salon to friends Pros: good haircuts Cons: uncaring staff more

customer service 9/29/2007

I called today and asked to get an appointment to adjust my hair color and haircut I received at the Alpharetta salon on September 20, 2007. I got an appointment with a different stylist just because my original hairstylist was not available. I then got a call from the salon saying that re dos had to be done within the first week and I would have to wait until Tuesday for an appointment with my original stylist. Due to my schedule that was not a possibility and I would have to wait for 2 weeks. Then it would not be a redo but a new color. I explained this to the salon and after I got the long lecture that I needed to use my original stylist and could not get until in Tuesday- they finally agreed to let me come today. After I thought about this conversation- I forgot to tell the salon that I did call yesterday and left a message and sent 2 emails yesterday- all of which were never acknowledged or responded to. I was impressed with the salon and staff until this today. I spent a lot of money there and all I asked for was a small adjustment on the color and cut.Needless to say, I did not go back there. more

Avoid - Horrible Color Job 4/1/2007

I just moved to town and needed my highlights touched up. I didn't want anything drastic. I told the stylist that i loved the color of my hair, but it was just a tad too heavy. We agreed that a few low lights should be added, along with highlights. Although Zach was very nice, my hair color was TERRIBLE!!! The golden brown/blonde hair i use to have is now a dark brown/black/grey color! The only thing good left is the hair he didn't color. When I expressed my concerns, he tried to convince me that it was great and that i would get use to it and like it! I tried to get a refund on the partial hair color, but they refused. I was told I could come back in and have Zach fix the color, but there was no way I was about to let him touch my hair again! I now have to spend ANOTHER $150 to fix his mistake! more
