Don't Use This Vet 11/1/2011

I had heard about "Miller the Killer" or "Killer Miller" through word of mouth over the years, but was desperate one Thursday evening at 530 when my dog was acting strangely. Sure, they begrudgingly agreed that if I came right then they would see my dog at 530 when they close at 6, so i'll give them that much, but it does downhill from there. This vet gave my dog an injection of Rimadyl without my knowledge, which can have adverse reactions and cause a lethal toxic reaction in some dogs. I believe this may have played a part in the early demise of my dog and recommend no one visit this vet. Pros: null Cons: null more

Don't go there!!! 2/12/2011

I had a similar horrible experience with Dr. Miller with a very sweet pit bull I had several years ago. He was the only person ever that could bring out the bad side of her and she was a good judge of people. I took my other dog there in an emergency situation after a snake bite and his back room was crawling with roaches and he was cold as ice. I left with her and drove to Dr. James Woods at Balcones. Now I know about Dr. Graef who is excellent and compassionate (and close). Don't take your dog to this vet. He's BAD NEWS!! more

only in it for the money 2/22/2007

Two visits:When we first moved to Texas we lived in Taylor and needed to get the dogs shots. We went to this hospital for the shots and this man not only gave the shots but also insisted that the two dogs get all sorts of tests that they had had by their prior vets in another state. The only thing we needed was the shots deemed needed by the state of Texas. This visit that should have cost $100.00 max ended up costing almost $200.00.My friend and I were walking our dogs and hers got caught up in her leash and broke her leg. We rushed this puppy to this vet because he was open later and the good vet in town was already closed. The vet took the dog into the back room, told us to stay out front and put her leg in a cast. When he did this, according to the second opinion she had done, he had mis-set the leg. This was a young puppy growing quickly and the way he set it the puppy was able to pull out of the splint with no problem. Now my friend had to decide if she wanted to pay a surgeon to more
