We just had Hannah, our miniature schnauzer puppy, spayed by Dr. Jutte. From the moment we booked the appointment until the time we picked Hannah up, Dr. Jutte and her staff could not have been more competent, thorough, compassionate, or dedicated to Hannah's comforts and well being. The quality of care our little one received cannot be adequately described in this simple review, but trust me when I tell you that Dr. Jutte's Taylor Veterinary Clinic, along with every member of her polite and courteous staff, is the VERY BEST place Downriver for all your pet's medical care. more

Horrible. Horrible. While Dr. Jutte does know her stuff for sure, its her sales team, oops, I mean veterinary assistants that drove us away. We'd go in for basic shots and then SURPRISE: Its a $300 dollar bill covering everything from vitamin shots to shampoos that were unnecessary. Whats worse is we had to argue to get them off. I had easier times with Rainbow Vaccum sales people than these creeps. They used guilt saying things like, "Well dont you want your baby to have the very best?" or "Doing this shows them how much you love them, and wouldn't you want this if you were them?" My pets needed a rabies booster, not a $30 bottle of shampoo. THEY ARE ALL ABOUT MONEY MONEY MONEY and are wicked to get it. Your pet will be treated very well, but be ready for the sneak attack. The minute you tell them "No", you'll see exactly what myself and many other in Taylor talk about. more

I will drive the extra distance because Dr. Jutte and her staff are the only people I would trust with the health care of my pets. The clinic is clean - the staff is very experienced and caring. I have recommended Taylor Vet Clinic to my family and all my friends for years and will continue to do so. more

I have been taking my four cats to the Taylor Vet Clinic for nine years now. I have nothing but good to say about Doctor Jutte and all of her staff. I am treated with kindness and courtesy and my animals are cared for like they were the staff's own. I clearly remember calling the clinic five minutes before their closing time with an emergency. The staff and doctor were there to greet me as I can rushing in after hours. \r I would recommend the clinic to anyone who wants a caring, compassionate vet experience. more

I have been taking my Rottweiler named Max here for about 5 years and as long as you have the money on you there ok but when I took my dog up there today to have him looked at I told them I would have the money for them in a few days because I don't work at the moment and my bro was helping me with the finances and he wold send them a check in the coming days but they said no and the exam to check him out was $36 so I tried another place the VCA Southland Animal Hospital in Taylor the Exam was free and would except the check in a few days and were really kind to us as are do had to be put down because of Stomach Tumors but Taylor Veterianary Clinic nurses and doctors are rude and only want your money and uncaring I know I will never go there again more

I take all 3 of my dogs and all 3 of my cats to Taylor Vet Clinic and have nothing but good things to say about the Doctor and the staff. They take excellent care of my pets and the price is very reasonable. I definitely recommend this Clinic. more

WORSE VET EVER, ONLY WANTS YOUR $$ AND DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE ANIMALS!!! I was bringing in my 2 cats for the first time for vacs and chech up and walked out owing over $800 if this is even possible??? No fee or extra charges are ever mentioned they even charge for the kleenex if your cat sneezes!! Dr.j is only out to scam you when I ask about all the extra fees she said this is normal. I've had on cat for over 11 years and never had a vet bill over $150. DO NOT GO THERE THEY ONLY EANT ALOT OF MONEY OUT OF YOU!!! I have now resorted to facebook craigslist twitter and other clubs mentioning how I got this outrageous bill and asking everyone how they would handle it and how to pay it. Over the past year we have adopted two cats from animal control. We have received nothing but the best service and treatment from this vet - I know that both Salem and Dueblo appreciate the good health/ care provided by Dr. Jutte! Today I was looking up the phone number on-line and came across the poor review that someone left. It struck me that (like so many pet owners out there) people do not understand the financial responsibility associated with caring for a pet. If you cannot afford to care medically for yourself or pay your monthly expenses then how do you justify being a pet owner? Animals are not only to be loved they deserve good veterinary care. more

I would like to start by saying that I live and work in the Taylor area and I wanted to find a new vet for both of my dogs. In doing this one of my dogs became ill with infections on both his ears and skin. I was absolutely upset about this. I went to this vet hoping to find some relief for my poor dog and the Vet looked at him and made me feel like a terrible person, making snide remarks and not comforting me or my dog at all. when she brought me the over 270 dollar estimate, I was again devastated because I do not even take myself to the doctor because i can not afford it and here I have this sick dog who can not help himself that i must take care of. After looking over the estimate there were things that I already had at home and I just could not afford to perform all of the tests at this time. i explained this to the vet and I got my bill down to 150.00 by choosing the things that were necessary for him right now and I would bring him back in a week or so to take care of the rest. more

I had to bring in one of my cats because he wasn't eating and they took great care of the little guy. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, the staff were nothing but curteous and polite. They talked me through different tricks and tips to try and get my cat to eat and did their best to calm my fears. I was very worried but after following their advice, he started eating again in a couple of days. I was happy to see them take such good care of my cat who is like my child and I would recommend this clinic to anyone who loves their pet as much as I love mine. more

Everytime i get a new pet i take them here. They not only are the lowest priced around here but they are just great . There is nothing special bout this place its just a plain vet place but its always clean and the staff are so good with the animals. They always give you pet a treat after you are done and checking out. I would say you should try them out. more

This vet is very close to my work, so it is easy for me, and recommended by my sister. They are pretty reasonable, with average prices. It is a smaller vet, so they are never to busy for me or rushing me to hurry. They spend time with both me and my dog, making sure he is OK, and I fully understand everything I need to. They are open long enough hours to make it convienent, and have great parking available. They are very clean, and very professional. more
