We called Dan (the owner) at Tawas Applicance to have our washer looked at. He asked for the model number when we called...but did not look up anything. When Russ (the service guy) shows up, he says he can't do anything with the machine without a schematic. After 5 minutes, he leaves and goes back to the office to look up the details. Then, when we call back they say they can't fix it because the parts are no longer available...yet they still want to charge the $75 service call fee...for what? they didn't diagnose anything. Dan should have looked up the model number when we first called and/or Russ should have looked it up BEFORE stopping out and wasting his time and our time and money. They should have admitted their mistake and refunded us the $75 for the service call. THIS WAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
