How can you not love this place with an excellent staff and awesome atmosphere.Ive recently moved to chicago from the west coast (la) and it didnt take long for me to find that the word on the street was TATTOO FACTORY there shop is bigger and cleaner than any other shop ive EVER seen there is art work every where with an unbelieveable amount of deisigns to choose from if thats your case or theyll draw up anything you want with out any hesitation.The guys in the shop are also some the funnest people ive encountered with great confidence and understanding for first timers they are all around excellent.Word on the street is the tattoo factory for a good reason THESE GUYS ARE THE REAL DEAL .After being tattooed there more than a few times ive found an artist that really cliques with my ideas (thanks again chris) but enter with no fear every one at tattoo factory knows what there doing not like many other multi artist tattoo shops ive been to.i give them a perfect 1010 more

If I could give a higher rating than 10 I would. I shopped around and did a little research about other places. Tattoo factory came highly recommended so I gave it a try for my first tattoo. I was not dissappointed. Casey Sass was amazing. I had an idea and image of what I wanted, plus I had a particular challenge of covering a birthmark. Within minutes Casey was drawing an original design for me. His expertise and wisdom was crucial in the design process and I couldn't be happier with the results. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful and I was made to feel very comfortable and at ease. The atmosphere was great and impeccably clean. I will be a loyal customer of the Tattoo Factory and of Caseys forever. I'm already working on the what and where for my next tattoo. An overall awesome experience. i got a simple dumb star tattoo on my ankle and they mananged to screw it up. \r \r when i had asked the ""artist"" to go over it to make the edges cleaner, he became very annoyed and told me ""tattoos are suppose to be imperfect, why don't you just get put a sticker on your ankle if you want a perfect tattoo"".\r \r i'm just glad that my tattoo was not complicated... more

Tatoo Factory is the best Tattoo Shop in the city. They have moved to a new location across the street from thier old store front and the new larger space is amazing with granite counter tops and flat screen t.v.'s, trust me it's awesome! Casey Sass aka the ""Baron Von Sass"" is THE BEST Tattoo artist in the city!! He can draw anything up at a moments notice and is versatile, moving from traditional to asian, to portraits. Casey also painted some of the paintings in the new store as well as a mural all across the shops walls. Forget the thugs and hacks at Jade Dragon! If you want true artistry Tattoo Factory is the place to be!! Pros: Great atmosphere and great artists. Customer service exceeded expectations. more

Dawn did a custom cover-up tattoo for me and it looks so awesome! She does excellent work at a reasonable price! I doubt I'll be getting anymore tattoos because they're so painful, but if I choose to go under the needle again, I'll definitely contact Dawn to do the job! I have decieded that Hank is the best piercer I have come across in Chicago. He is really cool and explains everything to you. i have had two piercings with him and brought friends and my sister to him. Everyone has had a great expierence. He did my industrial and a surface piercing on my chest. He really likes the special piercings. Pros: very helpful, good price, quick more

To me, places like Jade Dragon that always overstress cleanliness lack in tattooing skill. I did a lot of research and decided to go to Tattoo Factory for my first tattoo. I brought in a custom tribal design and Mike completed it in about 45 minutes. It was pricey (220 bux) but I don't care because the tattoo is crisp and black, not faded and grey (after a long time). Definately recommended. Don't go to Jade! more

i went to get my belly button pierced and they were really friendly and helpful. they arent over priced at all they charged me $50 for belly button. the place is clean and the open the needles right in front of you. its very professional yet friendly open minded place more
