Excellent chow mein. Love that it's available with barbecued pork and that there was plenty of the pork. The shrimp fried rice was excellent and chock full of shrimp. We will definitely order from there again. more

They have a huge menu, and everything I've tried has been excellent. Always comes hot and fresh. more

Watching the slow demise of customer service provided over the last 6 months has been very disheartening. I used to love ordering from Lotus, and did so about once per week for the last 18 months. However, it seems that either new management, or new employees, have allowed customer service to fall below acceptable levels. Need utensils? Don't order from here - even though I've specifically requested chopsticks on my last 3 orders, I've not received any utensils whatsoever. Expecting any special instructions to be honored? Don't hold your breath. Accurate rice flavor that matches what you ordered (and maybe paid extra for)? 50/50. All in all, it's very sad to realize that I've lost what used to be a fantastic place to order some decent food from. But, so it goes... Hopefully they'll get their act back together soon and be the place they used to be. But I don't see that happening unless they get rid of the new staff that seems to be causing these problems. more

I placed the order, including CouponCode, through the Eat24 website. The good is that I was told it would arrive in 45-60 minutes and it did show up in less than an hour. The bad: The delivery guy arrived, told me it was $22 something. I had included tip in the credit card charge. I offered him my credit card in case he needed to check the number (they've never done this before with an Eat24 order but he seemed to be waiting for something). He was all "Ugh. No." I was like "...I ordered with the credit card." He was all "I didn't print credit card receipt. You pay with cash?" Luckily I had cash on me, though I WAS NOT PLANNING ON USING IT FOR THIS. So I gave him $23. Then he was all "That not include tip." SERIOUSLY???? Yeah, I won't be ordering from this place again; their delivery service sucks. more

I ordered food from this restaurant on May 1st, and I will never order from them again. The food was so disappointing, that I don't know where to start. I ordered their crispy fried fish appetizer. Did you ever buy those long triangles of frozen fish in a bag at a discount store? That's what these were; enough said about that. I ordered steamed dumplings, and they offered them prepared mild, spicy or hot; I ordered hot. These were the same generic dumplings you can buy frozen at your grocery store. As far as preparing them 'hot'...they put a small cup of Sambal in the styrofoam container. I ordered garlic napa cabbage; they gave me garlic bok choy (this was actually pretty good; just not what I ordered). I ordered combination egg foo young. This came in 2 containers...the 'combo' meat and veggies in one, and the pancakes in another. The pancakes, I believe, had no egg in them; they were doughy, tasteless, tough and dry. My order came with a complimentary order of veggie egg rolls...they were mushy and tasteless. Lastly, I ordered comco chow mein. The noodles had a slightly odd aftertaste. If you want a chinese food delivery in the Sun Valley area, order fron Mandarin Terrace.....DO NOT order from Lotus. more

clean solid take-out but very salty. Ma Po tofu is one of my favorite dishes and this looked right but didn't taste anything like it. No bean curd, pepper, garlic, or ginger flavor that I could detect. I would say they need to work on adding some traditional flavors in there. Still have not found good szechuan in Burbank. more

Sorry to say - this is a must avoid - all over the drivers inability to find my address (even though previous drivers with Lotus & other Eat24 restaurants had no problem) after 2 hours they canceled the order saying they had a wrong address and my phone was disconnected. I understand problems happen, but to lie about disconnected phones & bad addresses is wrong! To add insult to an empty stomach her last words to me were, "I don't need this we are too busy..." My question. How long will you stay busy with service like this? more

One of the worst restaurants in town. Ordered twice, both times complete disaster. 1st time - waited an hour and a half, contacted eat24, they said the driver was on his way. 30 mins later my neighbor brought me my order saying they just dropped it there. 2nd time a delirey guy brought me second check which was 40% more than I already paid to eat24. I showed him online receipt from eat24 and he literally ran into my apartment, started to yell, scream and wave his hands saying they don't have any coupons or discounts (I used a coupon eat24 emailed me). I even wanted to call the police, 'cause guy was just standing in the middle of my living room yelling like crazy. In the end he said he was some kind of manager in that place and I'm not allowed to order from them again. Their food is ok at best, absolutely nothing special compare to other Chinese restaurants in the area. I strongly suggest to avoid this place, you will have a lot more problems than you can imagine. more
