Very Nice Place to Stay 9/9/2007

It was a very nice place to stay, the staff was very friendly. The accommodations were first class even in the standard rooms. The rooms were very nicely decorated with comfortable beds and bed linens. The bathroom was also very nice. We had a great view of the river and the Tappan Zee Bridge. The fitness room is wonderful with a large variety of equipment, a racquetball court and indoor pool and spa. The layout of the hotel is slightly confusing with maze-like hallways. The grounds are beautiful even in the winter. It is a lovely resort with gorgeous and historical buildings. Pros: Ammenities Cons: Layout of Hotel, Parking is Limited more

Incredible Estate & People 7/21/2006

Where can you check in and your are immediately greeted at the door as if you are the owner. After being greeted by a ""Receiving"" type line at the desk we were escorted to our beautiful room. Granite & Marble baths, high bed with pillow top mattress and custom 4 Star furniture.\r \r Breakfast is complimentary but a real hot buffet with table service and professional staff.\r \r Take the history tour of the estate, it is a 45 minute walking tour which explores all 26 acres and 10 buildings. Only 30 minutes from NYC.\r \r My only suggestion is be in good shape and wear your walking shoes. The layout is confusing and there are no elevators. more
