While at first put off by the long wait and crowds, I finally arrived early one night to see what all the fuss was about. The atmosphere is nice. A little noisy at times, and I wouldn't recommend sitting in the bar area. The crowd waiting often overflows and ends up hovering over the diners in this part of the restaurant. The food is wonderful! And, I might add, very reasonably priced. I've since been back five or six times with friends, and have never tasted anything that wasn't superlative to the other options for mexican throughout Portland. The fish tacos are absolutely the best, with the fish changing daily for variety. The margaritas are fresh squeezed and not overly sweet as in many restaurants, and the octopus cocktail is a unique treat. Overall, if you can make it in early, or get a reservation, I highly recommend this restaurant.
Pros: great food, great drinks, reasonable prices
Cons: long wait, noisy
