I am not the kind of a woman who pays attention to what reviews have to say. I do prefer to experience events and situations in life by myself, in person. I do not like to write reviews either, but this time I couldn't help it. more

I do agree with pagani, Tango Academy of Pasadena offers an extraordinary tango program. I learned about this place in a local tango magazine, during my last trip to Buenos Aires. I took many classes during my staying there and also in LA; I am still learning the culture. I did a little bit of research about the academy in Buenos Aires and I was told that if I was serious about tango, that was the place to learn tango in the US. OK!! I did try the practica first; it was great, good karma, great food, and the music at its best. I had a great time. I signed up for the series and my experience so far it has been profound and revealing. It truly transformed my life. What else can I say except, that after visiting many tango schools and teachers in the US and Argentina, Tango Academy of Pasadena is the Malbec of tango teaching, if you know what I mean.... more

I enrolled in the beginners and intermediate series in the 2009-2010 period, what I have learned since then surpassed my expectations many times over. The genius of his teaching and his hypnotic way to interprete the music through his dance is just awesome. Magnetic to say the least. Pros: It has trully transformed my life.
