Hillary turned my bad haircut around in the first appointment. As other reviewers have stated, she listens and she knows what to do with the information you give her. I have short hair with lots of cowlicks and other stylists seem to want to follow the formula for a symmetrical haircut. Well, my hair is not symmetrical. Hillary gets it that every head of hair is unique and she has the skills to adapt to my hair and my personality. I know a cut is good when people stop me and ask the name of my stylist. That hasn't happened in over a year for me, but it happened twice within the week after Hillary gave me my cute, cute cut. more

Hillary is the girl to go to! I've had about 5 bad haircuts since moving out here & this woman finally saved my hair from the choppy disaster that it was, I don't see myself ever going to anyone else. I recommend her to anyone. She will cut your hair exactly how you ask, she's one of those people that you know she knows what she is doing & somehow your hair grows magically fast! more

Michelyn always does a perfect job on my cut and color. With other hairdressers I walk out hating the styling and have to redo it. Michelyn always makes me look my best. She even showed me the magic bun on top of my head to curl my hair while I sleep at night and always goes the extra mile. more

Hillary is great! She listens and does exactly what I ask for...and she's quick. I went to beauty college so I know what's going on, Hillary is on top of her game and does a great job on my hair every time. She is a great stylist and knows her colors. I give her 2 thumbs up! more

Michilin gave me the best hair cut I've ever had! I have long hair, and I am very particular about my haircuts. I was hesitant having someone new try a different style on me, but I could not be happier! She completely understood what I was asking for, listened to my every request, and her years of experience proved priceless! I simply could not be any happier with my hair, and I cannot see myself ever visiting another hairdresser. I'm hooked! Thank you Michilin! more

Hillary is amazing! After years of straight, long hair that I hadn't colored since college, I decided I was ready for drastic change (but a modest look). Hillary helped me achieve the exact look I was going for and the change I desired. I brought in a picture of Paris Hilton's short 'do. Hillary matched my own style to that in the photo, and flawlessly! I've never been a fan of highlights but did want a subtle hint of color in my own hair. Hillary added an ombre shimmer throughout, just a shade lighter than my natural color. It's perfect. :) more

My oh My---first spoke to Hillary after having worst hair disaster ever (Ok maybe the Annie Orphan perm back in grade school was worse!!!) Hillary was not only understanding, but comforting !!! Seriously, I was hopefull--but I have never walked out of a salon sooooo happy in my life (not exaggerating) just being honest --(and am also very hard to please!!) Walked out with insane shiny color, wave that flowed, and the hugest smile on my face----lets just call it a hair orgasm !!! (Yaay me!!!) -- plan on seeing Hillary again sometime soon--because not only does my hair Rock--she's good people too. cole more

I read the reviews online about Hillary and so off I went. hillary tales with me not at me about my hair. Really took to listen to what I wanted! She did color, highlights, and cut, and all were done fantastically! I loved the color, cut, and highlights! several compliments even from people I did not know just stopped and asked me, I have kept going to Hillary and will not change, save yourself lots of stress from having those bad hair days and go to Hillary!, debi more

I have been going to Hillary for the last 19 years in Thousand Oaks and I have always loved what she does with my cut and style. I trust her expertise and she always listens to what I want done. I was so thrilled that she moved to the desert where my husband and I live part time so I can continue to go to her. Hillary has always given me the best cuts and blow drys and she always tries to accommodate my crazy schedule. On my last visit she did my color and suggested a Keratin Brazilian blowout. I love the results and how smooth, soft and sleek my hair is now. No more frizzy bush of hair for me. As for my color, she managed to create a very natural soft brunette shade, much like I had when I was young. I highly recommend trying Hillary and trusting her suggestions and expertise in cut, color and the Keratin Brazilian Blowout. She really knows what she is doing. more

Love my Hair! 9/21/2011

Hilary transformed me! Her great suggestion of a Global Keratin blowout which is safer and just as effective as a Brazilian blowout was perfect. My naturally curly hair is so easy to manage now, and is healthy as ever. She also does a wonderful job with color and weaves. I am so happy I met her!! Best Cut and Dye EVER! 9/18/2011

So I went to go see Hillary at Tangled down in Palm Desert. I was looking to get my gray hair covered and a cute hair cut. I am a well traveled person and most stylist won't listen when I'm trying to say what I would like. Hillary listened to what I was looking for and gave wonderful suggestions. She gave me a weave and I have never been happier. If you need someone that will cut your hair so that it is flattering and dye it so it doesn't look flat and boring, then see Hillary. She is the best!! more

So, I ran across Hilary on Citysearch and decided I was going to try her for a cut,color,and Brazilian Blow out. I have curly hard to work with hair. She did a terrific job. Better than what I received at the St Reggis salon in Orange County. I could not be happier. She is very pleasant and positive to be around.Thanks again. Tangled is a great salon!!! Give them a go.
