best computer repair around 3/5/2013

i've been going here for years and they are about as honest and fair as they get. the store is probably the cleanest computer repair store i've ever seen. the prices are approx half of what they charge at any of the big places and they include alot more so you don't feel nickel and dimed like at the big places. not to mention they have actual degrees in engineering and certifications while big computer repair places have comission only sales people who run a disk and charge you a fortune to do it. \r thier prices compared to the small computer repair places are about average, they are cheaper than some and more expensive than others but generally the places they are more expensive than are not anywhere as nice, clean or trustworthy imho. they also advertise that they price match as long as the services are the same. and they seem to be honest to a fault and explain everything in as much detail or as simplified as you want. \r \r all the staff were patient with me, and overall i am very happy with this place. i will be going here for a very long time. and i'm sure at anytime if i'm ever not happy about something they will make it right. seeing the other reviews it doesn't seem like either bad review even let them know thier was an issue. the way they are written they look more like they were written by a competitor then a real upset customer. \r \r \r Pros: excellent prices fast turnarounds Cons: not finding them sooner more

When my brand-new laptop battery stopped charging within the first few days, I took everything to Tampa Computer Doctors. They were able to get me a new battery under the warranty and shipped my laptop back to Brush where it was more convenient for me. They kept in touch with me the whole time and was very professional. Highly Recommended! more

Had a virus going in my computer last week that I really just could not figure out. I am normally against going to these repair shops but I decided to give it a try. Computer Doctors knew exactly what the problem was and proceeded to fix it quickly and efficiently! Will definetly be bringing my next computer issue to these guys. Extremely satisfied.\r \r more

Ever go into a store not expecting to be amazed by what you get? Well this is definetly one of those places. Typically when I think of independent Tech help I think of people with little to no expierence with computers giving general advice and not helping with the issue. I must say that the Computer Doctors are the complete opposite. Every time I have been in I have recieved nothing but the absolute best customer service!\r \r more

Great service! I ALREADY had an issue with my new Iphone so I decided to take it in to the Computer Doctor. About an hour later and my phone was as good as new! The customer service was excellent; I was greeted just as soon as I walked in the door and had one on one assistance from there. The price I was charged for this rather complicated fix was very fair by my standards. Overall, I had a great expierence and will be taking my next tech issue to the Computer Doctors! I would highly recomend this business to anyone who needs help in this field.\r \r more

I love it here at Computer Doctors! I am one of those people who can never seem to catch a break when it comes to computers. So, whenever I have an issue I simply take it to the ""doctors."" They are always fast and efficient. I have never gone into the Computer Doctors and left not satisfied. They always fix the problem that I am having and make sure it stays fixed. This is certainly the best computer repair shop around town and I would highly reccoment them to anyone that I know! more

EXPENSIVE, UPSETTING EXPERIENCE!! I wanted to buy a laptop from a large store and someone referred me to Computer Doctors saying it was better. I bought a laptop after feeling pressured from the staff about this specific brand. Got it home and hated it. I took it back and asked for a refund or exchange. No refund and they charged me a large ""restocking fee"" ($50) because I brought the first one back. Took the second brand new laptop home and it crashed everyday for a year until I finally had to spend even more money to have it fixed. A $500 laptop ended up costing me almost $1,000 when all the fees and fixes where over. If you don't like to throw money out the window then go somewhere else. I'm still angry I wasted all my money at Computer Doctors when I could have gone to a large store and had some kind of recourse. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! more

Awful. I brought in my HP printer to be cleaned due to a fading magenta color that I had read about online. I was told the charge would be $50 and they would diagnose if anything else were wrong with the printer. After the cleaning I was told I needed a new Magenta Cartridge due to the fact that it was a refurbished cartridge, all I needed to do was bring in a new magenta cartridge and after the machine was recalibrated it would be fine. I brought in the new Magenta cartridge and was told by the owner one of their employees would do the recalibration. Next I told now the black & blue toner cartridges were leaking. I told the owner I would probably just buy a new printer for $200, he assured me. New toner no problem. The original problem with the Magenta just got worse. $350 for nothing. more

I have worked at computer doctors for over 5 years now. We are better than our competitors because: we offer a free diagnosis with no strings attatched. some places say its a free diagnosis if you get a repair with them or they give you a 10 min diagnosis for free or only give a hard ware diagnosis not a software one. ours is completely free. we offer price matching, we meet or beat any reptuable computer repair place on sales and service. The owner has his cell phone on a customer complaint card that is given to every person so if they are upset they can reach the owner. I could go on, i am happy working here because i have a strong sense of belonging here and knowing that the company reputation is excellent. more

i brought them my first computer and my blackberry and they did an excellent job fixing both. I called them for my office and they came in sped up all our computers, cleaned up all the wires so they looked nicer and set us up with a service plan half the price of the other companies we were looking at. Go with computer doctors they will treat you like family and give you a great deal! more

my past experiences with computer repair companies i would be without a computer for a week. they had my computer repair completed within 24 hours without charging any rush fees. You can't be service like that. Pros: 24 hour repairs more

Computer doctors are the technology specialists! 7/28/2010

We started using computer doctors to figure out the problems our internal IT tech couldn't resolve. They have been able to solve all of our problems and decrease IT costs throughout the company. We started buying dells from them and we are now getting better computers for less money than if we bought through dell directly. Computer Doctors are the best! hard drive recovery 7/27/2010

brought my laptop around to be repaired and tried several other places paying $120 in diagnostic fees for them to tell me i couldn't get my pictures back. they did a free diagnosis recovered all my pictures and the whole repair was half of what the other places quoted me for repair. thankyou computer doctors.
