I love this place 3/27/2012

I have been going here for years now, the service is always very good and friendly. The sushi and the Thia food both are excellent. It really is one of my favorite places. I honestly cant believe any bad review. more

Don't waste your money here 3/18/2012

I ordered the Pad Thai thinking it would be a safe bet for a first timer. The Chicken Pad Thai tasted like fish. This signals short cuts in preparation. Over priced as well. I won't be a returning customer. Not impressed. more

This was just BAD from all angles. The ambiance was great, but they were playing the wrong music all night long. Some kind of top 40 pop which was absurd for a thai restaurant. My food was lousy from all ends of the spectrum and the best part was paying $18 for a meal. My friend agreed his pad thai was nothing special either. The rice in my dish was ice cold, the vegetables which are supposed to be crisp and crunchy were completely soggy and beyond overcooked to the point of almost soft baby food texture. You can get a fresh thai meal at Tee-Jay Thai in Ft. Lauderdale for WAY less. This place was over priced and a huge faux-pais on our behalf!! more

I recently went to Tamarind, and like always I was very satisfied with my order. Their sushi rolls great. I particularly enjoyed the Red Dragon Roll. \r Tamarind also serves hot dishes which are to die for! \r I know I'll be back! more

Love It! Best Sashimi... 1/22/2008

We love to sit at the sushi bar and ask them to surprise us. They come up with the best combinations. Their toro tuna is to die for. Wahoo tempura is one of our favorites. And I can't get enough of their tuna tataki and popeye salad. Great place to experiment with new exciting dishes. Pros: fresh seafood, great friendly service, ample parking space, easy to find more

The food is great!! The soups, sushi, salads, appetizers, all of it is very good. \r \r The service is slow and the prices are a little high. But the food is good. So if you don't mind sitting and waiting and you don't mind spending a little more than other restaurants then you will enjoy the food. more

We went to Tamarind Grill after receiving a gift certificate at Christmas from a friend that raves about this place. We were more than disappointed. The service was mediocre at it's best point, the food was less than the snappy fresh food we have become accustomed to in most Thai cuisine and the ambience was.....non-existant.
