Best Indian food in Ft Collins! more

I've lived in this area of the West about 20 years now, and once I discovered Ft. Collins, then the Taj, I was hooked! I am an excellent chef and cook a lot of ethnic food, especially Indian (even order spices online!) and I still can't beat their Saag Paneer. Although I am getting close with their Baigan Bartha and some other dishes. Sigh, I'm making myself drool.... My wife and I make it a practice to stop at the Taj and also ""takeaway"" some of their food for home use later, every time we hit Ft. Fun. The buffet can't be beat. I've had Indian in NYC, SFC, Vancouver and Chicago as well as Great Britain and Ireland to compare it to. It ranks right up there with the best curry houses in my opinion. My wife ate there tonight while on a trip with a friend in Cheyenne. I am very jealous. Don't blow a chance to visit the Taj next time you're even near Ft. Collins. Trust me. more

Great Food, Prices add up fast for two entrees and naan, wish they wouldn't charge for extra rice, one container isn't quite enough for what you order, especially because you usually can't finish but need some of that great saffron rice for leftovers the next day. more

My family has been eating at ""The Taj"" for over 10 years. I've consistently been overwhelmed by their friendly staff, prompt service, and amazing food. Even their take out is amazing! Their lunch buffet is always changing, but keeps my favorites on hand. Pros: Spicy food, fast service. Cons: TVs on during the day. Sometimes very crowded at dinner. more

This place stinks - literallhy. It's difficult to eat here with the overpowering stench that surrounds you while Indian food is known for its aroma. Avoid. more
