Tailoring Plus

I was nervous getting a bridesmaid's dress I had taken in. It was whole size too big and the last tailor I used ruined an expensive pair of jeans by taking them up too far. I tried to go with recommendations only but that failed. The first recommendation was for a tailor that seemed to consistently charge a small fortune for altering anything and the second, blew me off three times. So after reading a good review about the people in this shop doing a good job with altering a man's custom made suits, i decided to try it. I was very please. I had jeans taken up, the sleeve of a dress fixed (it was falling off at the seam) and my bridesmaids dress taken in. All said and done, it was perfect and cost me $45! Plus when i was concerned about the bridesmaids dress not fitting tight enough (it is strapless) they took the time to help me see if i wanted it tighter and show me how it would affect the rest of the fit. I heard of this place through word of mouth and was pleasantly surprised. The tailoring shop itself is very quaint, no bells or whistles here; just a sewing machine and a small changing room. The people are very quick, efficient, and friendly. I needed pants hemmed and unlike other places I've gone where you try on the pants, they pin it, then repeat with the next, here, they marked it with what looked like a crayon for fabrics and then you're off. Quick and easy. I was extremely happy with the fast service and the quality of their work plus the price is very affordable. The shop itself can be easy to miss from the street though. Since it is located on a busy street, it can blend in with the surrounding businesses so you may have to drive around the block a couple times to find it like I did.
