This is not a trendy place, but rather a throw back to the 40's. Great short order food. I highly reccomend Taggarts. For desert, get the Bittner or rum raison ice cream. On a personal note. Many celebs that have come to Canton for the Professional Football Hall of Fame weekend ask to go to Taggarts. Pros: food, Ice cream, food Cons: no parking lot more

Bitners, what more to say! 7/14/2004

This place is well rounded. My mom loves the fish sandwich. I love the burgers. My kids love the ice cream. My parents and I love the Bittner's! Gotta try them, my parents prefer with nuts, I take mine without, but still a great treat! Pros: inexpensive, good food, great ice cream Cons: , on street parking more

Everything...Including the Kitchen Sink! 1/26/2004

Taggart's is an institution in the Canton area. They have a great selection of hand-crafted ice creams and other goodies like the classic Bittner. If you think you can handle it, try the Kitchen Sink. It is 6 scoops of ice cream, and just about every topping they stock. Another plus is the value, just recently 3 of us dined there and got dinner plus ice cream for around $20 total. That is tough to beat! The majot downside of Taggart's is the parking. Your only option is to parralel park on the street nearby as they have no lot. Pros: Great ice cream Cons: Parking more
