I almost lost hope in finding this place, but it was on a side of town not visited very often. I was so happy when I finally found it, though, it was well worth the patience! When I arrived there, I was readily greeted by Mariana herself, and she began immediately on my order as soon as I had been sat down and waited on by this very nice waitress there. The decor is very inviting, very colorful like most of the colorful things adorned to the mexican heritage I have seen. The menu has a lot of ala carte type stuff on it, but I definitely recommend the tacos. Mariana herself makes all of this stuff from scratch and the white corn tortillas she make are worth your while. They are complimentary to the stuff she uses on them--sauteed onions, cilantro, and 7 different choices of meat. I tried the chorizo, sabados, and carnitas tacos and all of them were good. Try the salsa Mariana makes, it is a wonderful compliment for you spice lovers out there, very tasty and leaves a nice burn. There was even a mariachi there too, playing guitar on request. He was quite the funny guy. I am craving some of the tacos there right now. Forget Taco John's or Taco Bell, this place would get my business FIRST. The tacos are 1.25 a piece, but I would certainly prefer them anyday over those other two establishments, despite the side of town it is on it was well worth it!
