You basic Mexican food, no frills. Pretty decent! more

Not even close to comparison to a real Mexican meal, but decent for a bland American palette. more

I wanted to check this place out, they opened this location about 1 month ago. I went on a Wednesday night around 6pm and there were only a few other patrons in the establishment. Their menu is a little confusing so you may want to look at it online or at the door before entering because you can feel a little rushed or prompted for the order. At the cashier's recommendation I tried the Wednesday burrito special and got it with steak and all the fixings. There is a salsa bar there but wasn't at all impressed as I was expecting the "hot hot sauce" to have more bite then tomato puree. They do have fresh jalapeños and limes which is a nice complement. They had a special 2 for 1 on the beer so I picked up a few cold one's which was nice while waiting on my burrito. It also appears this location offers delivery which is kinda cool for lunch or a quick dinner if you live nearby and cant get out. I found the service friendly and the place tidy, the food was good too and your usual prices for this area of town. Will come back again. more

They just moved to a new location, and I don't have anything but good things to say about this place.\r They offer a FREE salsa Bar, where do you get something for FREE this days??? Food is fresh and cooked just in the moment. Menu is really generous. Ther is something for everyone. This is not just a Taco or a Burrito place. Prices very inexpensive for the portions you get.\r Service is just great, and the staff only cares about the customers to have a great experience.\r I wish most places do the same thing. We always have excellent experience at this place.\r BTW, they are now located at 851 Village Blv, in the Village Commons Shopping Center. I will recommend itto everybody I know. They just deserve the best for being the best ! more

I was there on a Saturday after their grand opening. I had not visited their other location at City Place. The menu is a little bit confusing, at first. Then you realize it is basically Tex-Mex. I ordered a typical combination with refried beans and rice. I had their fish and shrimp taco. They were good and tasty period the ambience of the joint is comfortable and the employees were friendly. My primary dig against this place is they have mild, medium and hot sauces. To my taste, they were all mild and nearly tasteless. more

I spent $32.00 for the two of us and asked for one of the small 2oz styrofoam cups so that I didn't have to fill 8 of the undersized cups. I was told no. Too bad food was good. Won't be back on principal. more

The service was bad. Teenage staff stood around socializing and forgot to bring our food. We had to go back to the counter after 30 minutes and remind them. Food was okay. Atmosphere is not great. more

The service is great!..They always receive us with a smile and fast service. The food is DELICIOUS. This has to be one of the hidden treasures in West Palm Beach and the City Place area. It serves very tasty burritos, tacos, fajitas, etc. The food is excellent and they use only the freshest ingredients. It is self serve with the platters brought to your table. There is a salsa bar and self serve sodas. The owner, Sylvia is from Uruguay, is right there overseeing the operation, bringing food to tables. She is very pleasant and helpful and sets the tone for this great place. Do not miss it!\r There is metered street parking right by the restaurant. more

It appears that the restaurant is under new ownership. The food was delicious, over the top for "fast-food". The place was very clean, as well as the restrooms. Manager appeared to be walking around restaurant to make sure that guests were content. Would love to eat there again! more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 2/24/2010

Dirty, barely even changed the old beat up look of La Salsa. I went in and had trouble trying to figure out if they had cleaned the place in the last week. Dirty bathroom and I decided not to eat. I can't do dirty restaurants. more
