LA's best kept taco secret!!!! 2/7/2010

Everyone knows that in LA, it's all about having a favorite taco place. And Taco Quickie is by far THE CLASSIC LA taco place. It's been around forever and I swear, friends & family members alike drive from near (Commerce, Whittier, etc) and far (Fontana!!) just to taste these delicious crunchy tacos. It was sad when the main Taco Quickie place closed down right next door, but thankfully it still stayed open and just became taco quickie/quickie dog. The tacos are always the same with spiced ground beef, shredded cheese, lettuce and no tomatoes - dont even ask because they won't give them to you! ANd the hot dogs- ohmygod they are soooo good and the buns are hot and soft and that onion spicy meat sauce they put on top will just make you dream about it. I also love the 35-cents quesadillas and 50-cents sodas and fries!! Wow, I am really craving all this food now - I hope this place never goes out of business -- they would make a lot of people sad!!!!!!! Pros: TACOS, HOT DOGS & FRIES!!! Cons: there aren't more of them everywhere more
