Table Steaks is under new ownership and is a Great place to go have a Cold one shoot some pool and have lunch breakfast or dinner,Very Friendly Staff comfortuble environment for all.New Cook on Board that does a Magnifacent job,So for all the bad revues on here about the towing issues,If you are going to the Gothic theatre dont park there...DUHHHH!!!Im a Loyal customer that brings my Family to Table Steaks so come on down and have some Fun!!! more

Look at the reviews - they're either 5-Stars or 1-Star. All the 1-Star reviews say the same thing - they'll tow your car. I've been a regular customer for years, and can tell you TSS (now Billiards Inc) is the best place to play pool in South Denver. The tables play great, the staff is friendly - just don't park in the lot, wander off, and expect it to be there when you get back. more

My brother was on leave from Iraq and we went here to play pool and have a few drinks. The waitresses and bartenders were all very attractive and nice. We had great service. Their security guards patrol the parking lot, but it is to insure the protection of customer vehicles. I suppose that if you are not a customer there, then you could expect your car to get towed, the same as anywhere else. We had a great time! Terrible bar, terrible service, terrible food, way too expensive. Seriously don't waste your time- there are much better pool halls out there. We went there last night- shot pool, had a few drinks, and walked over to the Gothic down the street, the show sold out so we went back to the car- only to see it being towed from the lot! We were gone maybe 20 minutes. They have ""watchers"" in the parking lot, and if you leave, they tow your vehicle right away. Too drunk to drive? Your car gets towed. I have been going to Table Steaks South for 5 years now. It is great inexpensive fun, and all of my friends go to Table Steaks. I took some friends there that live in North Carolina, and when ever they are in state they make sure to visit Table Steaks at least once. They are Pool Hall addicts and said that they have never seen a Pool Hall this nice ever before in their lives! They have been playing Pool for over 20 years now, and I myself agree it is one of the best well run Pool Halls in the entire United States. The Steaks there are some of the best in town. They also have one of the best bars in Denver. I strongly encourage anyone who is into to Pool, or just wants to have a good time, to stop by Table Steaks South! Its great, it's fun, and it is not nearly as expensive as some of the other places out there in Denver. I love going to table steaks because most bar/pool rooms only have fried food and frozen pizza but table steaks has a full menu with really good food. I absolutely love the prime rib special on saturday nights! Also, their happy hour is from 3-6pm and again from 11pm-1am on most nights, you can't beat that. I go there all the time, I guess you could say I am a regular : )\r \r The only problem is that the parking lot is not too big but you can find meter FREE street parking or park in the huge lot just across the street, also for free. The food stinks! Be prepared to possibly get sick. The service is a joke and best of all they can't run a credit card without doing it 7 times! The manager is of no help and just said the machine wasnt working properly.... I have to wait 5-7 business days for them to fix their mistake... That is unacceptable.... The place has decent drink specials but the food is pretty bad and the service is horrible. I've been there a few times, I didn't want to dismiss it right away based on one bad experience, but after several, I'll never go back. I tried to talk to the manager about it but he wasn't very helpful at all, so much for customer service!\r And careful about parking there, they have people sitting around waiting to tow your car. Tablesteaks South is a great place to hangout, shoot some pool, play in the free poker tournament, and enjoy some good food. The owner/manager Frank is such an awesome guy and is super friendly! Just don't park in their parking lot if you are not planning on going to Tablesteaks - thats just not cool - you will be towed at your expense. This place is great! We ran across it one day when the bowling alley around the corner was closed. The parking lot is rather small so if you go prime time, Fri or Sat night, it might be tough. The nightly food specials don't change, though the food is great. The customer service is awesome. The bar is huge. They have various sized tables.
