When I moved into these apts. I was told pet policy was $150.00 no pet rent. That was attractive to me. I didn't have my cat with me yet but planned to bring him down within the year. I was going to move him in this weekend, however, when I went to the office to pay my deposit they tell me it is now $200.00 deposit and $10.00 a mo. pet rent. The tenants were not notified of the change so that we could have made the deposit and not pay the pet rent. Even though I was assured this is what it would be, Cooperate is sticking by their new switch which came without any of the old tenants knowing.
Same thing happened when I moved. I was assured the heat was paid, very attractive to me and it was also in the brochure I had and the office told me that it was paid too. When I moved in, and had to pay the heat bill, I went to the office. They responded ""Oh no, we don't pay the heat!"" I had to fight cooperate AGAIN with the proof in hand. They paid for three months, but that ended in April and will pay no more. The office has all of my cats papers, references, shot records and vet reference, he is declawed, neutered, and never goes outside his litter box which I clean every day. kids, on the other hand, chip the bathtubs, mark the walls, and put toys through the walls, they don't have to pay extra. TAB is not a company you would want to rent from, they lie and of course, you being the peon is the one that gets burned!
Pros: Bright, sunny, reasonable, Maintenance on site
Cons: Cooperate changes rules in midstream. Tenants unaware!
