This is wonderful pizzeria. This is the closest thing to experincing roman style pizza but in Seattle. more

HORRIBLE. Don't go there to eat pizza. 6/6/2007

This pizza was horrible. We tried two pizzas, and the crust had no flavor, and was soggy. The sauce was like they just used pureed tomatoes and added no extra flavoring. The toppings were exactly like the menu said. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I've had pizza in New York, and pizza in Italy...and this is wayyyy off the mark. more

A TERRIBLE DISAPPOINTMENT. THE WORST PIZZA I'VE HAD IN A VERY LONG TIME. 5/16/2007

I have been a pizza afficianado and amateur pizza maker for 20 years. I know my pizza. This is horrible pizza. The soul of a pizza is the crust. A good pizza maker craves the high heat of a coal or wood stove to get that bubbly crust, hint of smoke, outside a yeasty moist crumb. Tutta Bella seemed to have the right oven, but it did not have a good dough or a pizza maker who knows the first thing about making a pizza. The pie arrived with an inspid and limp dough. There was no crust. I picking up a slice and it drooped like a limp noodle. It was dramatically undercooked. LIkewise, the top was not adequatley cooked. That's what happens when you dont knead your dough well, have long rises, or let your dough sit on a preheated oven. The pizza maker had the pie on a paddle with the top facing the flame. NO, NO, NO. A terribel shame. A waste of an good oven. more

Great Family Joint 11/17/2006

This place gets more than an okay with me. First the pizza is good. Second, the salad is great. Third the Gelato is supreme. But let's focus on that there are not many places for families with kids. Now, I don't have kids, but I have nephews. When you take nephews out without MOM, it can sometimes be a disaster. NOT so at Tutta Bella. If you are lucky to come early and get seated promptly (this is my suggestion), then you are descended upon with Wiki-Stix, these sticky magical bendy things that you can virtually sculpt into anything fun and entertaining. They have root beer on tap. They will, if you ask, bring a little piece of dough to the table for the kids to play with. The sinks in the bathroom aren't impossible to reach for a 4 year old who you are making wash their hands before dinner. The service staff doesn't frown on the children, doesn't act ""put-out"" when the children ask a bazillion questions. And if something spills, they graciouisly come with rags and smiles (they seem to understand that accidents happen). I highly reccomend this place to any Aunt or Uncle (Mom and Dad of course too) who wants to treat their sibiling to a joyous few hours by taking the kids out to dinner. Thank you Tutta Bella for reminding us that kids are diners too. Pros: Kid Friendly, good food, parking, salad, gelato Cons: can't think of any more

There's a degree of sophistication at Tutta Bella's. I thought perhaps it was their method of fire-roasting the thin-crusted masterpieces of fresh... more

Excellent Pizza....interesting/creative and also the usual toppings....Yummy salads 10/30/2006

This joint gets my ok.......the food is really satisfying.....if you want to go pizza-light try the salad w. fresh mozzarella served cold on the bare-wood-oven-fired crust.....a variation on the 'bread & salad' entree. Heads-up:It's VERY noisy and there's usually a wait on weekends..... don't get the pizza to-go...the crust gets soggy and loses that great crunch & hot-out-of -the- wood -oven flavor which is what you're paying for here. A fine CIAO down here. more
