Tully's if Better than Starbuck's! 12/3/2004

I have lived in Seattle all my life, and believe me, Tully's is better than Starbuck's. I have had a few lousy cups of coffee from Starbuck's before, weak, watered down coffee, excessively bitter, but never Tully's, it's always rick, and has a full-bodied flavor, another one that isn't even on here is Peet's, Peet's is in the Larry's market on Aurora ave and 100th st in Seattle, an excellent cup of coffee to be had here, better than Starbuck's anyday! Better than Starbucks 3/6/2004

Having tasted cups of coffee at Starbucks, the coffee house that Seattle is famous for, I wonder why Tully's doesn't get more attention. The coffee at their stores, as well as the whole and ground beans you can bring home, are superior to the burnt taste of Starbucks' beans. They're almost as common in the Seattle area, too, so when I want coffee, I get it here. The coffee and espresso are top-notch. The froofy drinks (mochas, etc.) are good, too, but all the milk, whipped cream, and chocolate makes you forget what you're drinking - coffee! I recommend buying some beans and brewing some of your own at home. Pros: great coffee, take some home more

I love the mochas etc. But I especially like the coffee from the stores that is already ground and brewing it at home: awesome and invigorating coffee. Pros: Smooth, Good flavor, Not bitter Cons: Expensive more

most tully sites do not have adequate amount of help during the peak rush times. This results in long lines which is a bad factor especially in the mornings Pros: smooth coffee, great atmoshere Cons: long lines, poor staffing levels more

we've been loyal tullys customers for over 5 years now. they know us by name and have our drinks started before we cross the threshold! a very nice place to relax on a weekend morning. Pros: good coffee, ambience, easy to access Cons: only one bathroom more

Tully has better coffee than Starbucks. Starbucks became #1 in marketing their products but not their quality coffee..... so Tully's should be #1 more

Nice people at Tully's.. taste needs improvement... but atmosphere and people are for the most part pleasant. Especially in Bothell area. The coffee for taste needs improvement.. and prices could be a little lower. But they are second to Seattle's Best and ahead of Starbucks in taste and service in my opinion.... I'm a huge Tully's fan. They are local and right on. The beans are high quality and roasted to the perfect point (not bitter but not burned). I love their stores' atmosphere and appreciate that the iced drinks are bumped up in ounces to account for the ice. I love em! more

If you can support corporate coffee you should only drink Tully's. They really do roast the best beans, maybe in the northwest, and are still an awkward small local company at heart. Pros: great beans, great service, best in class more

Stop trying for second best 7/29/2002

Tully's is without a doubt my favorite cup of joe but they seem to be trying to be second best only. Service cannot match Starbucks. Ambiance comes in second. Coffee only comes in 12oz pakages. I want a pound...go to Starbucks. Hours suck. Not a Tully's to be open in North Everett on weekends. Do they think everyone can get in during the week? Not likely.
