Springfield Mall 6/10/2006

Well, the Springfield Mall is a tiny mall and there really is not much to see once you've been there a few times. But it's in the heart of Springfield and a good place to go if you're just looking for a quick shopping fix, or to drop the kids off for a few hours. Stores have come and gone with only a handful of originals still in place today which in turn would make visiting a few times every few months worth it. It was sad to see Strawbridges go. A lot of people just went there and no where else. It's also a good place for teenagers to grab a summer break/weekend job that's not too far from home. Susan's Own Ice Cream is a veteran store that gets extremely busy during the Christmas season, Macy's is a good place to find Woman's Clothing, and the newer Express for Men is the place to find a good looking shirt for a guy (expect to spend a little more). In all, it's not a bad mall but if you're looking for more, head to King of Prussia. more

getting better 4/4/2006

The first time I went to the Springfield mall was a few years ago and I thought it was dirty and not well kept. Recently I started going there again though and found it to be in much better condition. Yes, it is still small and so has a limited selection of stores, but the stores that it does have are decent. I love the Children's Place at this mall. For me, that alone is worth the trip. more

NO...nonono 2/28/2006

I have nothing good to say about this mall. I haven't been there for a while, I'll admit, but I think there are much much better places to go to. They have a very limited selection of stores, and never any good sales. I never found an easy parking spot and really, it's small. There are better places to go. more

Worst Mall Ever 2/5/2006

I avoid this mall at all costs. It's not even a mall, really, it's a hallway with a few stores in it. Small, cramped, limited store and resturant selection, and a confusingly laid out parking lot really turn me off to this mall. I never go here unless I have to pick my sister up, and even then I try to get out of it. STAY AWAY. more

Springfield Mall! 1/17/2006

The Springfield is not the biggest or best mall in the area, but it is nice and well kept. It has all the stores you need in it and sometimes it is nice to be able to go to a mall that isn't gigantic and overwhelming. When you know what you want from a particular store, go to Springfield Mall. It is anchored by two department stores- Macy's and Strawbridge's. Strawbridge's is closing very soon, go while you still can. more

Small but has some nice stores 1/15/2006

I used to hate Springfield Mall. The first time I went there, I thought to myself, "This is it?" It has two stories with 2 anchor department stores and the same small retail stores you see everywhere. No food court. Since that time, Springfield Mall has grown on me for a couple reasons. First, Carabba's. This restaurant is classy and has delicious food (Caution, not open for lunch). Second, the picture people store...turns out I really like their photographers for my kids' pictures. So although it will never take the place of the King of Prussia Mall, it'll do in a pinch. more
