TLC Maternity and Baby

On my recent visit to Maternity TLC, I was a little disappointed. I was looking for a nice pair of maternity jeans and anything else that I could find that appealed to me. However, upon entering, I found that the store was cluttered and difficult to navigate. As a first-time expectant mom, I needed some guidance. The staff seemed friendly enough, but after the initial greeting, no one approached me at all. Their selection of maternity clothing was decent, not extensive, and a little overpriced, in my opinion. At the time, we had not yet purchased our son's bedding, and I was thinking about shopping there. I only saw a few bedding sets displayed, though. Perhaps they custom order most bedding? Because we wanted to see our bedding "in person" before purchasing, we ended up going out of town to one of the larger chain baby outfitters. I might revisit Maternity TLC if I'm ever looking for a hard-to-find specialty baby item. Even then, I will call first. more

This place has a wonderful selection of unique clothing for children. Some of the things that they have, I personally would not put on my child but they are neat. The store itself is very nicely decorated and has a lot of baby stuff. From bottles and burp rags to baby furniture and clothes. The only thing is, is that they are very expensive!! A friend of mine bought her daughter an outfit there and after buying the bow and socks to match it she was forking out over 50.00. Way too expensive for a child that is growing like a weed. The staff here are friendly. more

This is a great maternity and baby/children's shop. I have ordered all 3 of my kiddos bedding through them as well as purchased many great maternity outfits and baby outfits and gifts. For such a small store, I am always amazed at the selection they have. Often if I find a unique item online they have it, even when other retailers in my area (like Toys R Us) don't carry it. They also sell Medela breastpumps and they have a lactation consultant on board to help you in that area. They are a full service maternity to eternity store. They do have a larger selection of girl items than boy items but i find that is the case everywhere! more
