My expirience with APD,has been great,not only are Shawn and Maria Nice people, but the work that they both do is excellent, they've done several root canals on me,and due to the difficulty of getting me numb, they put in the extra time and care that's needed, not to mention advice given to me as a friend ,and not only as a patient by Maria show that they care about the people who step into their buisness, they've went above and beyond for me in many ways, I highly recomend Alamo Plaza Dental, there office is a one of akind expirience, stress free enviroment Pros: one stop full service dentistry more

Many members of my family (me, my husband, my children, my brother, my sister ...) have been patients of Dr. Gallegos and Maria for the last 4 years. I have had many different treatments including invisalign. Our experience has been wonderful. Dr. Gallegos is the best dentist ever and Maria is wonderful. My four year old loves to go to clean his teeth. They always prodive the best practice with the best caring for their patients. We are very fortunate to be their patients. She seems like a very nice person up front but once you get to know her, she is rude, has an attitude of ""I own this place and I am my own boss so if you don't like it, shove it."" Her husband Shawn, the dentist, seems really, really nice and he is but he should just stick to being a dentist and not a orthodontist. He does not know what he is doing. I had invisigline done by him and I was not happy with the result. When I voiced my opinion, all he said was ""yea but it looks much nicer than before."" I feel that if I am paying the money and going through the pain, I want it to look perfect which he said it would look. I went to see an official ortho before going to see Shawn and the ortho told me I needed to take out couple of teeth. Shawn told me I didn't need to take out any teeth. Obviously, the ortho knew what he was talking about because now even though my teeth are some what straight, my facial expression has changed. My mouth did not have enough room for all my teeth; therefore, literally my mouth is sticking out. I have voiced this opinion to him and he just chuckled and said, ""It looks beautiful."" They don't know what they are doing. Please just go see them for cleaning teeth. He also isn't good at ROOT CANAL. He cracked my tooth in doing it and said ""it was already cracked."" Pros: Beautiful ambience, great parking, does great job in cleaning teeth. Cons: DO NOT GO FOR ORTHO, ROOT CANAL or any other procedures other than cleaning. Maria, wife of dentist and owner, is very fake. more
