T J Maxx

Seconds and close outs is what comes to mind when I think of this store. I have been in here a few times in order to give them a chance to meet my standards. Certainly seems to me that the clothing, in general, is seconds and returnables from other retailers. I suggest that if you plan on purchasing a garmet here that you pay close attention to the seams, all stitching and then give a good once over, perhaps a twice over, on the quality of the materials and fabrics used. I have found countless garments that the flaws were in the materail rather than the workmanship. more

I absolutely love TJ Maxx! They have an awesome selection of brand name items on discount. You never know what you will find in there, and they get new stuff in every week! They have great clothing and shoes, purses and tons of different household items. I just bought some new towels and sheets and I paid a lot less than I would have at a department store. They also have cool kitchen stuff and gourmet foods. I buy a lot of gifts for people there. You pay a lot less than department store, sometimes like half price! It is all first quality merchandise too. The toy section is really neat. You can find different stuff and different brands than you would at Toys R Us or Target. Almost every time I go to TJ Maxx I find something that I like! My only gripe about the store is that they never seem to have enough cashiers working and I often have to wait for a while. It is worth the wait though with the treasures you can find! more
