My spinning buddy left me for a boot camp. She liked the fact that she was getting a full body workout, but the idea of working our at 6am was not inviting to me. Furthermore, I had hated running all my life, so I did not think this would an option for this late riser. However, I saw a deal on LivingSocial for this camp I just could not resit, so after seeing in their webpage that one of their many locations was 10 min from my house, and that there were later morning session (they also have afternoon sessions) I decided to give it a try. I loved that it is not competitive, but about the collective. We do a lot of exercises in pair or groups. Also, my trainer, Ty, encourage and challenges us. He has an education degree, and it shows in the way he structures his workouts, explains exercises and circuits, and when he shares his knowledge on form, nutrition, and running. I love that he is very supportive, for ex. when someone is behind doing a group exercise or running, he will join them in order to encourage them not to give up, or feel bad. He also pays attention to your progress and points it out to you. and most impressive of all, since he is an avid runner, he has taught me how to run efficiently and enjoy it! After spending 15 min guiding me after camp on proper form, I lower the time I run a mile by a minute! I am so happy with my camp, that my spinning body left hers and joined Synergy!!! Ah, another things, after your first month, they always offer great deals, so it is really affordable. I also signed up for six months, and after two months people are noticing the changes:-)
