I am rarely enraged by any food or coffee place, but they raised my neck hairs. After driving through Northampton for a bit looking for a place for some coffee and pastries for the road, we found Sylvester's, parked and went in. The place looked great but the sign read, ATM/debit card machine broken. We asked where we could go to get cash to order and they gave us directions to a bank a few blocks away. We went to the bank, paid the $2.50 service fee and went back for them to tell us they were closing. I was rightfully angry that they didn't have the decency or sense to mention that before we trekked down the street in the cold and wind. Then they treated us like we were an inconvenience and all stood around shrugging their shoulders until one said, what you wanted a coffee or something? We left quite disgusted with Sylvester's and their staff.
