Great time! 7/30/2013

My daughter was terrified when she started... We had ms Tara. She is so good with kids! Now my little girl is a little minnow! Since we've started we're had different instructors. Most were great. Ashley is the only person at swim Atlanta who is rude and a know it all. She interrupts other employees and customers and seems to think she runs the place. I asked another employee if she was the manager and she laughed and said no she did not and that she was leaving too. Thank goodness! They're better off without her! The office staff are very professional and nice. I've never had any problems. Thanks Swim Atlanta for helping my little girl become a fish in the water, we can't wait to bring my newborn when he's old enough. more

Wow. 4/29/2013

Not only was my experience great with the instructors, but the girl in the office, jenny, was super helpful and sweet. She went above and beyond with her customer service. If you want great service ask to speak to her. more

Cumming location 7/19/2012

Instructors are great but the person at the shop is DEFENSIVE and RUDE. more

Not what I expected 5/25/2012

My child took swimming lessons at the Cumming location. Let's just say he learned not to be scared of the water but by no stretch of the imagination did learn how to swim. His instructor was okay but the other instructor seemed very distracted and uninterested in the children. It was very disappointing. We will not be back to Swim Atlanta. more

Bad experience 3/17/2011

Some of the instructors are really good. But Mike is quite rude to kids. if you want your child to feel totally incompetent, then Mike is the person who can do that for you. He has no patience with kids. Apart from Mike, there are certain instructors who are really good with kids. It is very difficult at the PS levels to determine who the instructors are before hand. The only option is to talk to Jennifer who manages the instructor scheduling and good luck talking to her! She is rude and always puts the other person down in her talk. Mike and Jennifer are the sore thumbs of this place. If you can navigate around them and find good instructors, then Swim atlanta is a good place for children to learn swimming. more

A real perspective and not just being bitter 7/16/2009

I witnessed the same incident as you and saw it totally differnt. I have been a customer of Swim Atlanta for many years and the manager and instructors have always been professional and helpful. When parents are totally obnoxious and expectations totally unrealistic they always attack the management of an establishment and are clueless that they are they ones creating all the problems. The case we saw was a mom with such an attitude! Maybe it was you... Swim Atlanta is a safe and positive enviroment for kids and adults. more

Poor Management at Johns Creek 5/11/2009

Good: My Instructors did a great job but I did not care for how their manager treated them in front of the parents.. Bad: Also, I have witnessed the manager being very unprofessional to some of the parents and she is not afraid to do it in the open instead of conducting her business behind close doors. I found the managment to be very abusive and I do not feel comfortable for my children to be subjected to this kind of environment. I will not be returning.. Improvements: New Manager. Other: The dressing room showers are not warm. The water is always cold.. more

Swim Atlanta - John's Creek 8/16/2005

The staff at Swim Atlanta has worked wonders with my children. My oldest son had previously taken lessons through a different organization without much success. Once we switched to Swim Atlanta I noticed a world of difference. The caring staff really gave him the confidence to do his best. After four months of lessons and clinics, he was ready to join swim team. The staff was also very successful in teaching my younger son how to swim. Other parents are amazed when they see how well he swims. Swim Atlanta has been worth every penny! more
