Best Froyo Around 5/18/2011

My friends and I were in the prudential on May 7th and decided to stop by Sweet Treats. While we were enjoying our chocolate frozen yogurts, we heard a little girl tell her mother that her chocolate froyo with gummies was delicious, but that after eating all the toppings and 3/4 of it she was full and did not want to eat anymore. The mother told her of course not and said they would try to get their money back. We were so shocked that somebody would behave like this in front of their child. We immediatly went up to the lady working at the kiosk and told her what was happening. The yogurt was not bad, it was delicious as always. Don't change the recipe the froyo is awesome! more

Bad Frozen Yogurt 5/7/2011

We were in the Prudential this evening and ordered a chocolate frozen yogurt for my daughter. After she had a few bites we tried some of it. It tasted like there was something definitely wrong with it-- it tasted like it had gone bad. My daughter felt sick and my husband took her to the restroom. I went to the lady who was at the counter and told her about it. The lady called the manager who said to us on the phone ""I tried it this morning and it was fine. You are lying"". I was shocked that a manager of a store would react this way, and call me a liar, rather than being concerned about our child, or offering to give us our money back. She then said, ""Your daughter is fine, she isnt sick"" (she couldnt even see my daughter getting sick). We just didnt want anyone else to get sick. The manager of the place was very unprofessional. She spoke so unkindly to me on the phone, even though I had just paid money for a bad frozen yogurt! I suggest people stay away from this place. It is awful. \r more

Best froyo in Boston! 8/25/2010

I found this small juice, frozen yogurt, smoothie, cookie, and cupcake stand about a month ago and I have been back many times since! They offer so many things to chose from. They have something for everyone. For the ones who really watch their health they have fresh juiced vegetable/fruit juices. You can even put in a protein boost! Personally, I love that they have a rotating flavor or froyo. The peanut butter and NY cheesecake flavors are my favorite! They always have fresh cut fruit and other toppings in the display case and you can watch them make everything which is a plus. The staff is always so friendly when I go. I can't wait to try one the red velvet cupcakes next time I stop by. It's nice that they have a frequent buyers card too! For every 8 you buy you get the 9th free! more

Hidden Sweet 7/15/2010

This place is definitely one of the Prudential malls hidden gems. Tucked away in the Belvedere arcade most people, wouldn’t find them but it’s worth searching for. I’m particularly fond of the Peanut butter froyo with a chocolate swirl. Even better is that not only is the froyo low calorie, but its kosher which is a plus for me because there really aren’t a lot of sweets that are. I pass through pretty often and have to say it’s a bit addicting. If they don’t have the peanut butter froyo I go for a chocolate covered strawberry smoothie which is nice and thick and a good amount of fruit, with a protein shot to pass the lunch hour. Pros: Convenient, healthy, kosher more

Boston's Healthiest Desserts 7/13/2010

I passed Sweet Treats two months ago while wandering the Belvidere Arcade area of the Prudential Centre as I had not been down there. I was immediately impressed by the colorful stand and seating area located directly outside the water feature in the centre of the Pru. The menu with frozen yogurt only having 25 calories an ounce is one of the healtiest treats you can find and everything tastes fantastic. My favourite smoothies are either the tropical paradise or the strawberry bannana blast. A huge plus for me is the power blends offered here. I have tried many other establishments in the prudential and surrounding area. None of them have offered the protein super scoop which I find exteremely helpful for building muscle. The customer service is excellent and the establishment offers a customer loyalty card which makes it worthwhile for me to visit there a number of times per week. It's definetly worth a visit if you want something sweet and don't want to pay for it in the gym! Pros: Healthy and Delicious Treats, Great Customer Service more

Best Froyo 7/12/2010

I stopped by Sweet Treats at the Prudential Tower after hearing about it from a friend. I got a peanut butter frozen yogurt topped with m&m's (delicious) and my wife got a smoothie. We will be regular customers and will even make special trips over to that part of town for a special treat. Pros: Great Topping Selection, Great Prices more

Best Fro-yo in Boston 7/11/2010

I first found Sweet Treats about a month ago while wandering around the prudential and have been going back every few days since then. It's in a quiet, relaxing corner of Belvedere arcade, right next to the south garden. All of their frozen yogurt flavors are delicious and the fresh fruit smoothies are creamy and sweet. The staff is super friendly and efficient so you never have to wait long for your order to be ready. I found and friended them on facebook and have been getting updates on all their specials and on online deals. The best advice I can give is swing by and pick up one of their yummy treats! Pros: fresh fruit, convenient hours more

absolutely fantastic 7/5/2010

sweet treats was a delicious little surprise. i went just yesterday and had a swirl of peanut butter and chocolate frozen yogurt, it was to die for. the flavors were both fat free and low in calories, totally guilt free! i paid way less than i normally would for a small, which was a perfect size helping. my friend got a smoothie, which she let me try, and it was thick, creamy, and fruity. when we walked up they were cutting strawberries! super fresh and delicious, cannot wait to go again. Pros: delicious, fair price more

Best Smoothies in America 5/23/2010

All I can say is WOW, The tropical paradise is the best smoothie I have ever tasted. They also offer 4 flavors of non fat yogurt with amazingly fresh fruit toppings. This is a must visit place if your in Boston, it's my new favorite destination!!! Pros: Right next to courtyard so you can eat your yogurt outside more

Gluten Free Howdy! 5/17/2010

Being in Boston there's a million different dessert options, but add a best friend whose allergic to gluten and I who follow a Kosher diet and your options dwindle pretty fast, especially in the Copley area. Luckily this shop opened. Their frozen yogurt is gluten free which was in itself an amazing find, finding it to be kosher as well, made my day. I had a peanut butter frozen yogurt swirled with chocolate, my friend had plain yogurt with fresh mango and strawberries. We both left satisfied and are big fans and now have a place that we can frequent and both find a snack to satisfy our sweet tooth. Pros: Frozen Yogurt, Kosher, Gluten Free, Fresh Fruit Smoothies more

Delicious! 5/4/2010

I've lived in Boston for a year now and have been unable to find frozen yogurt that hit the spot. Sweet Treats changed that for me. They have a delicious array of frozen yogurts, dry toppings, and fresh fruit toppings, some of the best I have ever tasted. Their fruit and vegetable juices are made fresh on the spot. Very refreshing and tasty. I've also had a smoothie- the Strawberry Dream smoothie was creamy and sweet and made with fresh strawberries. This place is delicious, and I am so happy that I found a place to fix my cravings. Pros: Fozen Yogurt, Cupcakes, Smoothies, Fruit & Veggie Juices more
