I used to LOVE Sweet Tomatoes--always consistent, always just what I wanted when I didn't know what I wanted...then there was the night that ruined my expectations of the place forever--there were young (granted, pretty harmless-looking) hoods hanging outside (one of them even came in to steal a drink from the bar), and the service was the worst I've had anywhere. The employees on that night clearly had better places to be, since they not only rushed us out, but we were serenaded with an assortment of clanging equipment and shouting from the kitchen, servers arguing en espanol, and the bread station guy cranking his Salsa music. Won't be back to that one soon--not until I see an "under new management" sign!
