Some things, like broccoli, just don't belong on pizza. Others, like pesto, always do. At Sweet Tomatoes in Newton Centre, they do both. True, it's annoying that you can't get a small pizza there -- only a medium or a large; and it's astounding how expensive a pizza can be (even the slice of the day isn't exactly cheap). Still, for the most part, it is very good pizza, and the calzones are excellent. Moreover, the crust here may just be the best in all of Boston. You may not be able to afford it daily, but when you need a Neopolitain fix, it's definitely worth it. Treat yourself.
