Ondreac\r I have a beloved kitty that has a terminal heart disease. I met Dr. Crowder a yr. ago and was very impressed by her and the services she offered. I have had to part with numerous beloved 4 legged family members most of which needed to spend their last moments in vet clinics. Though I have always loved my animals' doctors I have not wanted them to pass in that setting. My last dog fortunately was able to pass in our home. I have been in contact for some time with Dr. Crowder re: when the time may come for me to let Lily go. Today I met 2 other members of her team Dr. Watkins and her vet tech. I requested a consultation after my Lily went into distress. I was also in contact with one of the other vets over the phone Dr. Candice. I can only ""ditto"" all the previous comments/reviews on this site by others. All 3 vets and the tech have been nothing short of wonderful. On the unfortunate day that I do have to make the decision to part with my angel Lily I'll be very thankful to have them with us. more

My beloved 15-year-old cat, Ewok lost his last battle with IMHA. He was miserable but I dreaded packing him into a carrier and letting him die in a clinical setting. I called Sweet Dreams. Dr. Crowder and Jessica arrived promptly. Dr. Crowder consulted our veterinarian to confirm the diagnosis and obtain any information she needed for a peaceful passing. Ewok passed into the light on his own bed with his family at his side. Peaceful, secure, and relaxed. I highly recommend Sweet Dreams when the time comes to relieve a pet's suffering. more

Worth every penny 6/4/2011

I can't say enough good things about this entire process today, thank you both SO MUCH! The experience was peaceful and perfect for both me and my cat. Having been through this at home with Sweet Dreams, I will never ever put a pet down in a vets office ever again. It was wonderful and not the slightest bit scary for either of us. Well worth every penny to have a positive, peaceful memory of her last moments. Thank you so much Sweet Dreams!!!!!!!! more

Kind and thoughtful 2/18/2011

We cannot say enough good things about Sweet Dreams. Both the vet and her assistant were so kind and compassionate in every way. They did everything they could to make our dear dog's passing painless and gentle. And they were so thoughtful toward us as well. It's such a sad thing, but they didn't make us feel at all uncomfortable for crying our eyes out. I'm so grateful for that. more

Caring and compassionate 2/9/2011

Sweet Dreams was a life saver for me this past week. My best friend for the past 101/2 years was very recently diagnosed with kidney disease. Affter researching the disease and treatments, I realized we were past any point of reasonable recovery. Cody declined quickly and I struggled with the logistics of letting him go. I knew he was ready and it was the only loveing thing I could do for him to stop his suffering. The problem was I had to get him to the vet (he used to love car rides, but would have be laying in the back of the SUV by himself during the ride), carrying him into the vet's office, signing the paperwork while still holding him so I wouldn't have to put him down on the cold floor, and then putting him on a cold table, having him held down by people he didn't know. While I do love the vet and his staff, all this strees is not what I wanted for Cody and, to be honest, for myself. more

wonderful vet and assistant 10/26/2010

In august of this year, my 13 year old golden retriever suffered from cancer and severe hip dysplasia. I love my regular vet, but I just couldn't bear the thought of taking my baby out of the house to go to doggie heaven at her office. I knew I would cry and be very upset and I just wanted her to rest peacefully one last time. I found Sweet Dreams on line and I have to say, I have never met two nicer people. They worked with my schedule, were very prompt.. explained everything slowly, and gave me plenty of time to pet and talk to my dog beforehand. Let me add that one of the best things they do is a small sedative initially that just relaxes the dog so they do not really feel the next step. I sat there with my Gracie while they did it and it was just like she was taking a nap. She really seemed to die so peacefully. I had her cremated too and they handled all of that as well. Thank you Dr. Crowder and staff.. you made a sad situation more bearable... more

Very Professional and Sympathetic Staff 6/25/2010

One of my dogs had advanced Cancer and Heart/Lung issues, and was only just barely with me. I knew I had to be humane and have her euthanized, but the thought of taking her to the Vet (which scared her) to have it done in a public sterile place like that really to be honest, made me put it off longer than I should have. Pros: Sympathetic and caring staff. Cons: none, really. more

Caring, Wonderful Service 9/2/2009

I called Sweet Dreams when I found out if was time to put Lacy down. I didn't want my dog's last memory to be in a vet clinic. She had lived in the same house with us for 14 years and she was happiest here at home. Dr. Crowder came to our house on a Saturday when the whole family could be here and talked us through our concerns and gently helped us to realize that we were doing the right thing. Dr. Crowder (Amy) has such a kindred spirit and we could immediately tell that she is passionate about animals and that she could truly sympathize with our grieving. She knew just what to tell the kids to help them find peace with Lacy's passing. Letting go of Lacy was one of the hardest things our family has every dealt with and we feel fortunate that we found Dr. Crowder to guide us through the difficult process. It goes without saying that I highly recommended this company. more

In Home Pet Euthanasia Serving the Atlanta Metro Area

Owner Message
  • Your pet has been there for you through your toughest days, and although it is a painful decision to make, euthanasia is often the kindest gift you can give to your pet. It is an end to their pain and suffering. Euthanasia performed in your home allows you to control every aspect of your pets final moments. Many pets experience fear and anxiety when visiting the veterinarian's office. In-home pet euthanasia can make this difficult experience more intimate and peaceful, as well as more comfortable for your pet. We offer an alternative that may be better suited to your unique needs. At Sweet Dreams, we understand that your pet is a cherished member of your family, and we will treat them with the love and gentleness we would give our own. At the time of euthanasia, each family will receive a clay paw print to remember their beloved pet.
