I don't understand the favorable reviews here, but since there are only 4, I suspect they are written by cast and crew of Swedish.\r \r RUN, don walk, AWAY from this place. The definition of fraud is a misstatement of material fact, knowing it is not true and that it will be relied upon, the other party relies upon it and is damaged.. This place is a FRAUD.\r \r My son brought my C70 convertible to these assclowns because of a coolant leak. Given the C70 has seen better days, but overall it was a reliable fun car. After their inspection, they reported that the radiator failed and needed to be replaced. The repair was performed at a cost of nearly $1,000, we paid and drove away. That was in late November 2012.\r \r Fast forward to May, 2013. The car has about 6,000 more miles on it than in November and the coolant again is leaking. My son returns the car to Swedish for inspection. Low and behold they discover that who ever worked on the radiator last damaged it, and repaired the damage with ""a white substance"" and that there is a wrong hose on the radiator. Understand that my son isn't one to work on cars, especially cars that are running fine, so the hood wasn't even opened since November when Swedish worked their magic. The shop manager goes on and on about who ever worked on that radiator not doing things properly, then states in no uncertain terms that it they are not responsible. They also state that the car is now undrivable because of overheating. We ultimately called a junk yard and scrapped the car. Because of Swedish, this C70 went from a reliable fun older car to scrap. Nice job assclowns.\r \r Swedish asserts that someone else must have performed this repair. This is unbelievable. Why in the world after paying $1,000 would we have anyone else work on what Swedish already did??? Perhaps someone broke into my garage and performed the shoddy repair without our knowing???? My requests to speak with the owner went unanswered. \r \r I just can't believe this place. Its one thing to do shoddy work, and another level to refuse to accept responsibility. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR CAR. more

We pulled into Swedish Motors at 4:30pm with a major wheel bearing problem. Actually, I had no idea what was causing the excruciatingly loud noise but Scott identified it immediately. We had been traveling back to our home in Montana and needed to get back asap. They obtained the needed part and had the car ready, including a free oil change, by 8:15 the next morning. That kind of service ROCKS! more

My son's Volvo was towed to Swedish Motors at 3 pm on the Friday of graduation weekend. I talked to Bradley before the car got there and asked if there was any chance of getting the repair done that afternoon since we had a lot of relatives in town. He had Tom check it out and it was repaired, given and oil change and parked outside for a later pick up by 6 pm. They couldn't have been nicer and it was great to have the car running for the weekend. more

I used Swedish Motors last October. They explained in detail what they were going to do. The price was reasonable. They did a great job and the car came out in much better condition. We went to them a second time for a simple oil change and headlight replacement and that went smoothly as well. more

I am writing to say thanks for a great service experience at Swedish Motors. I came in with an unusual and difficult-to-diagnose problem with the rear suspension on my beloved 95 Volvo 850 that a dealer had already tried and failed to fix (yet charged me a considerable amount for the attempt). At first, the technicians at Swedish Motors also made an incorrect diagnosis that resulted in another unsuccessful repair. I was really upset, figuring I was on the hook for another expensive repair that didnt fix the problem. But thats when David, the owner, said to me dont worry, we dont work that way. With some more conferring by the technicians and some extra effort by Jeff, the mechanic, and Max, the counterman, the problem was correctly diagnosed and fixed. And, unlike the dealer, Swedish Motors charged me only for the actual repair, not for the first unsuccessful attempt. Now the car rides great again and I have a new repair shop I can trust and rely upon. It is really something to see a company that values honesty, integrity, good humor, and genuine concern for the customers problem, even when those values cost them some revenue in the short run. And it will only be the short run. You have a new longtime customer. Thanks again! more

Swedish Motors Inc. has been helping me for 13-15 years! I used to take my car to a dealer near them but the dealership moved. I saw Swedish Motors and decided to use them. I have a 1991 Volvo with 337,000 miles and I can call and get a loaner car. There are some places where you can't get a loaner. Swedish Motors is willing to trust you. They're professional, and willing to help the customer. That makes a big difference! It goes to the point where we feel like family. I can call them at any time. They're also more than willing to wait for me. I have never experienced this quality of service from any car dealership that I've dealt with in the past. Swedish Motors is very trustworthy and they will also give you the option of using a used part of a new one which they order for you. They're giving in terms of taking a percentage off the price, and will notify customers if they need an oil change. I trust them. It's also nice to know technicians by their names. They become like an extended family. The technicians will explain to you what they're doing, and so will the person at the counter. I'm at awe! Swedish Motors has become like an extended family. After my first visit, I received a hand-written thank you note asking for the opportunity for them to earn my trust. They certainly have! I've had several random issues come up (broken tire lug nut and bolt, failed gas cap as diagnosed by the emissions inspectors) and Swedish has handled them all professionally and quickly. They even give me a ride to my office so I don't have to wait while they work. I highly recommend Swedish Motors for any Volvo service work! more

I recommend Swedish Motors all the time. They have always taken good care of me. I've had cars serviced there for 10-15 years, and I don't go anywhere else. What I find is that David's shop is that everyone always tells you what is happening. They tell you what you need to change right now and what you don't need to change right now, and they don't try to up-sell you. They make sure you're happy with the changes that were done too. If there is a mistake, the mechanics take responsibility for it right there and then. Generally, they don't make mistakes, but when they do, they fix it. more

The folks at Swedish Motors have repeatedly gone above and beyond in helping me to keep my vintage Volvo on the road. My maintenance and repairs are done correctly and promptly and they always have time to address my many questions. more

Swedish Motors offer five star service every time. I've always driven used Volvos, at least 10 years old. The guys at Swedish really work to solve your problems, even if they are obscure. After you leave the shop, they will call you to check in, and ask little questions about your vehicle's performance. They are really committed to resolving the problem, and want to confirm that everything has been fixed properly. Volvos are their specialty, and these guys are the experts. They have a reputation for being the Volvo experts for the entire front range. I've even heard this from other mechanics. By now I know everyone at the front personally. I'm always greeted warmly, and well taken care of by them. They really try to make their service convenient, and will give you a loaner vehicle and let you drop your car off after hours. If you are having trouble of any sort with your vehicle, at least try them once to compare. You will probably convert. more

Swedish Motors has always been very accommodating. Every time I've had an issue, they have always been prompt in fixing it. They are courteous, and will call if problems come up while they have my car and plan to give me a loner if they need to keep my car longer. They even think of me and my financial situation when it comes to pricing things out. They are great about maintenance reminders. The entire crew is efficient, friendly and have good customer repoire. I highly recommend them to anybody! more
