Public Forced To Get Car Realeased From Boot At Flea Market After Paying For A Sellers Space\r \r This needs to be made known to the general public as soon as possible. I went to the swap shop to sell today. I bought 2 spaces Thursday for today(Sunday). The girl at the office never told me a thing about this new rule and none of the people that work for Preston Henn nor Preston or his grand daughter that is in charge of parking sellers is offering the correct info until after they tag your car for a boot. Nor was this new rule posted on the tickets I bought for the spaces or any pamphlets they hand out nor are there any signs posted about this rule.\r \r They started a new rule without alerting anyone and the rule is, you must be setup by 6:30 am and if your not they come around and put a tow away sticker on your car. If they come around again and your still not setup they put a boot on your wheel make you sit there until 5pm and charge you 50.00 to remove the boot. It may be private property but they can't do that for their own personal gain.\r \r I saw Prestons Henn's grand daughter and asked her whats going on? She then informed me that I needed to be setup by 6:30am. I then said why haven't you put that info on the space ticket I bought and how is anyone supposed to know that's a new rule. She informed me that when you get the tow away sticker then you would find out when and if you asked why the tow away sticker was placed on your car. At that time I said is that your way of communicating? She then informed me it is the only way to communicate out there. I just stopped talking to her at that point and felt this needed to be told to the public. I have seen people at the flea market with a boot on their cars hysterical crying just because they created a new rule but are not telling anyone until after they boot your car in a space you already paid for.\r \r more

I love this drive in. Its awesome, take a bunch of friends or a date and just relax lay back and enjoy the movie. With your ac or windows down depending on the weather or how much gas you have (: they serve beer at the standm grab a bag of fresh popcorn and snack and you're good. You could even bring some beach chairs and a boom box or leave the trunk open and relax while enjoying the movie on the big sceen, drink your beer,smoke ur cigarettes or whatever rocks your boat, but that I reccomend in the car ( ; lol. Trust me go and see and you won't regret it. I love the drive in. I take my own munchies, my own smoke (; and chill watching the movie in your own privacy or outside. (: more

My first experience of the swap shop was, OH MY GOD THIS PLACE IS INSANE. First off, it's HUGE! Secondly, you can find just about anything there, most of the merchants are reasonably priced. However, I noticed if you have a problem with something purchased, they are VERY RELUCTANT to give a refund. All in all, it's an experience. \r \r There are some seedy characters, so you have to be savvy as to know your comparison prices, especially with electronics, cell phones, car audio/video, some of the places have really good deals where others tell you they do just to lure you in. Pros: Most of the merchants are nice. Cons: Overpriced on Food, Drinks, etc. Pushy merchants more
