I went to Swanky's a few days ago and the stylist I got gave me a complete makeover, she changed my color and put highlights in my hair. I have never had so many compliments before! I went to work and everyone noticed how good my hair looked! Also my stylist suggested for me to get my brows tinted and shaped by the owner, I was shocked looking in the mirror what a difference she made! I love my new look!!! more

Swanky's Salon is my favorite salon. I love how I can get all my beauty needs done all in one stop. Grace the owner does AMAZING brow shaping! She has clients that come from Oregon, and California to have her do there eyebrows, so that should tell you something! The stylist are all so friendly and do FABULOUS work! I love how everyone works as a team. You feel so pampered the minute you walk in the door. The salon is very trendy! I highly reccomend going there!! more

WOW! This has got to be the worst salon i have ever been to. i have been reluctant to going to another salon to get my hair done for some time now, but when i finally get enough courage to do so, i went into swanky couture and salon......what a mistake that was. the salon is well put together and very cute ,but that is were it ends. The service i received was horrible. The aesthetician /owner of the salon was rude and very stuck up,she had no people skills what so ever and didn't care to here about my discomfort of the type of talk that her employees were having while i was getting my hair done.From the time i walked in ,to the time i left i was astonished at how unprofessional some of the workers and owner of this company were. The salon had dirty floors, a build up of other peoples hair in the rinse bowls, and their restroom was disgusting. As much as i love the clothing lines that were on sale in the salon , they are way over priced. This salon is only in it for the money and doesn't care about the service that they are providing to their customers, I wouldn't recommend this salon to any of my family or friends and will never be going back. more

I have never had perfect eyebrows until I started going to the owner of Swanky. I have used almost all of her services. Waxing, facials, micro derm abrasion, eyelash extensions, eyebrow waxing. She is amazing and a perfectionist. Very professional and accomodating to her customers. I will never see someone else. I highly recommend this salon. I recently got my hair done at Swanky downtown puyallup and was very impressed. At first i was a little nervous because it was my first time in the salon but after talking with the front desk and being greeted so warmly my nerves slipped away. Everyone was very nice, professional and helpful. My stylist Sarah was very helpful and had great ideas for my long over due makeover. She made me feel very comfortable and confident that her and i were on the same page before she even began my service. The end result was beautiful and i was extremely happy. I will definitely be coming back to swanky again. Thank you Sarah!! more

First I receive call to push my appointment back 1/2 hour so I say ok. Then arrive and she is still working on previous client for another 1/2 hour! When I finally get my turn one hour later than original appointment, I begin to explain my desired outcome. I had been here 4 months earlier when another stylist had done a good job on my hair and I wanted to bring that look back up to date since it had been awhile. I was basically a blond when I walked in, fair skin, blue eyed, light eybrows etc. I said if we could use the same blond color as before and add a couple darker foils for dimension would be great. So my stylist Michelle says she gets it and away we go. First she plasters dark brown hair color over entire head out several inches from root zone saying this is how we will get the dimension and then on top of this dark goup she is placing a few lighter foil in. I become very concerned as the bang area is turning VERY dark (blackish brown!). She says 'trust me' the lighter hair will fall over this. Well what can you do at this point? So we finish up, I'm unhappy, I had waited so long for this! My blondish hair is history. On the sides on head and front I have very, very dark hair. almost black. The blonder parts of my hair are more of a copper color now. I asked her, were all the foils on the sides of my head the dark color? Yes. So Michelle says she can fix it...oh really? Should I sit down for another chemical treatment after this incredible flop? I bet they would fry my hair to correct this mess. I later find out the person she was working on while I was WAITING for my appointment was ANOTHER EMPLOYEE of this same salon! It seems they are all about self. I did talk to the owner who defends her salon, says I was wishywashy in my description and NO I can not have my money back. When I told her how long I was made to wait she said ""WHO CARES""! I hope the readers of this post care. They make a paying customer wait forever while they work on each other. I wish I had just left because this grief cost me $120.00 non refundable, valuable dollars. The owner said ""who cares!"" I hope you care. i use to go there cause it was convient but the last time i was in there they were rude and discourtious and very unprofessinol. I defenetly won't be going there again no matter how bad i need my hair done. I asked for a simple color and they fried my head and still charged me for it. now that is un heard of please pepole take my word definetly find another place cause this isent were u would like to spend your money ..
