Good wine 10/1/2006

I'm not a fan of Sutter Home these days, but when I was in Sonoma County I enjoyed tasting the wine. What I didn't like was that there wasn't a formal tour of the winery and my fiance (boyfriend at the time) and I didn't get very attentive service. They probably thought we were stupid kids (we were in our early twenties, and had more disposable income back then than we do now). It was a beautiful location though, and they also have an on-site inn with limited accommodations. For reservations, the phone number I have is (707) 963-3104 x4100 more

This Is A Must See 4/15/2006

No trip to theNapa Sonoma wine country would be complete without stopping at Sutter Home. The store is fun and they have lots of samples of their products from crackers, to dips, to cheese and, of course, wine!!! They are on the main highway in St. Helena and cannot be missed. more
