I first went to Sushi Yamaguchi about 6 years ago and I have been going back ever since. No place in town compares to the quality of food and attentive service. The food is what made me go back a second time but what really made me a loyal customer is when I walked in the sushi chef Ken remembered my name and offered me and my friends a seat at the bar. Not only is the food impeccable, the restaurant is a comfortable atmosphere that makes you want to stay for just one more sake. If I'm eating Sushi in Las Vegas, I'm at Sushi Yamaguchi. more

Best Sushi 2/26/2008

Sushi Yamaguchi is the best sushi so far!!! We have been to Makino and their sushi was too americanized to be called Sushi. If you like to eat California rolls go to Makino. If you want to experiece the Japanese Culture, Go to Sushi Yamaguchi. This is by far the best we have eaten so far. It takes a while to cook the dinners, so I suggest that you order an appetizer or 2. Staff there is very good at what they do! Price is about $25 per person. Pros: most authentic Japanese food in Nevada without breaking the bank!!! Cons: Food is made to order, so it takes about 10 minutes or more per plate. more

Great sushi and great people!! very nice music. 1/8/2008

I just had me the freshest and most enjoyable dinner experience in a long time! This place has great people that works there and great people that eat there! The chef, Ken-san was very attentive and very thoughtful and considerate to our every need. The service and price was excellent! Tasteful food! Everyone should check out SUSHI YAMAGUCHI, you'll go back and never go anywhere else again! more
