Fresh sushi, great price, enjoyable experience! 12/30/2008

Sushi Palace offers all you can eat sushi for $20. The price has increased twice over the past year, but it's still reasonable. The sushi is made to order, not buffet style, and they offer appetizers (soups, shumai, tempura), sashimi, maki rolls (great combination ones, too), and dessert. I have never been dissapointed here. The only negeative is that Sushi Palace takes reservations, but that doesn't really guarantee you a table within 20 minutes of your reservation time. I've had a reservation and still have waited 30 minutes. You also leave smelling like tempura, but still, I always go back - it's just awesome. Pros: Food, Value Cons: Crowded more

Try it! You'll like it. 8/15/2008

Perhaps the best Sushi restaurant in New Haven, CT area. I am originally from Tokyo, so I know my Sushi by just stepping into the restaurant. It has to smell right. The best sushi restaurant has the special scent. The owner/chef was trained in a Tsukiji Sushi restaurant, so the food is very authentic Japanese, unlike some of the Chinese owned Japanese restaurants in the area. Only draw back is that this restaurant has All You Can Eat menu, which most of the customer will order, so it tend to get very busy, and the service might suffer, especially during the weekend and the peak dinner hour. Go there in the off hours. \r \r \r \r Pros: Authentic Food Cons: Service during the peak period more
