After reading all the rave reviews on citysearch, tripadvisor, and menupages, we thought this place is on par with other amazing sushi places in the area such as Hiko or Echigo. We could not be more wrong. We ordered 6 cut rolls, most rolls 8 pieces, which is too many, compared to most places and we would have minded that, except that the sushi quality was on par with something you buy from whole-foods. The tuna was not fresh; the rice was not soft, flavorful or sticky as it should be, but rather quite benign. The nigiri eel was good but most cut rolls were boring. The sweet sauce used on eel save the eel rolls and nigiri. The vegetable roll was saved by the piece of shiso used in it, which made it quite interesting.
Pros: Cheap, large quantity, may be good for large groups
Cons: Bogus sushi, terrible service
