Better than ever 8/3/2011

The sushihouse has really outdid itself.My wife and myself had the" professor" roll and the "ming a ling" and it was truly two of the best rolls we ever had.The sushihouse downtown is #1 in our book! more

The best sushi in hoboken, no other place like it. Im a sushi fanatic, and let me tell you, you have to deff. try sushi house of hoboken, both locations uptown and downtown. The owner Hendra is amazing at socializing with his customers and vip treatments for everyone. Uptown's a bar, downtown is byob. Both have the same great quality of fish, big sushi pieces, and great service. GO SUSHI HOUSE more

Great Sushi place! 4/14/2006

Just a block and a half off Washington is a great little place for sushi called Sushi House. Modern & trendy interior, they have regular tables and those high hat ones where you sit on high stools. It's always crowded and always good. The only downfall is it can get pretty loud! It's BYOB, so stop off at a local liquor store and pick up some sake or good wine to go with your sushi. Their rolls are great, not too small and they have a big selection to choose from. Some favorites are Madame Butterfly and Godzilla (in addition to the usual spicy tuna, shrimp tempura). I've never had room to even look at a dessert menu, but I think they do serve dessert. Now that the weather is getting nice, it's a great place to go and eat outside. Enjoy some good food and some fun people watching. more

Great Sushi, but Pricey 11/7/2005

Sushi House by far has the best and most interesting selection of sushi in Hoboken. The fish is always fresh and the portions are decent. The special rolls are what separates Sushi House from the crowd. An amazing selection of special rolls with many things you do not usually find on sushi. They are always tasty and unique. The one thing though is that the special rolls can get pretty pricey. But it is worth the expense if indulging every once in a while. Avoid the tempura though, it is not so great. Stick to the sushi and you will be happy! more
