Sure Load Moving

I hired Sure Load June 2 for an in-state move, less than 50 miles away. Crew arrived 2 hours late, then the real trouble began. Every member of the crew took frequent breaks, one after another. Between all the smoking, they managed to scuff or break multiple pieces of furniture, a doorway, and several walls, and that was before the truck even moved. Upon arrival at the new place, I discovered they had broken 2 mirrors, destroyed a priceless picture frame and left a 6inch break across the screen of my flat screen television. The crew was not even apologetic when I pointed out these concerns before signing the invoice. The claim process is an absolute joke, we have no hope of ever seeing any restitution for all the damages they caused that day. The manager offered me $20 for my trouble for a positive review online, there's not a chance I'd recommend them for any amount!! Frankly, I would've rented a truck and moved myself if I knew their crew was this untrained and unapologetic. more

We recently moved from South Carolina to Michigan. Because of the type of work I do my family has moved 4 times in ten years – with this being number 5 – and without question this was the best move we've had. In the past we have used one of the large companies that put you on a big rig, and then give you a 5 to 10 day waiting period because they are picking up and dropping off other clients as the truck moves across the country. Sure Load Moving is one of the few companies that will move ONLY you in their truck if you wish. (If your move won't take an entire 26 ft truck they can arrange the big rig type move as well.) We had enough to fill ¾ of the truck so we went with this option, and are so glad we did as the cost turned out to be the same. \r The crew was great and handled are things with great care, and when it came time to drive they actually arrived 3 hours early for the delivery window. This was the very first time my family didn't have to stay in a hotel for 4 or five days, or sleep on a blow up mattress in the new home waiting by the phone to be told when the truck was going to arrive. We arrived at our new home after a two day drive and the truck was there waiting for us. Additionally, in past moves one or two boxes have been missing, or we've ended up with someone else's item. As our items were the only ones in the truck we did not have to worry about this in any way. In short I would highly recommend Sure Load Moving for any move you have, but if you have a 3 bd home or in that range and you're moving out of state – do yourself and favor and call them. Ask for Chris as your driver and lead guy as well.\r more

Stress-free moving. I didn't know it was possible, but moving with Sure Load Moving , showed me how the best moving is done. I've hired Sure Load Moving for two projects: the first when my husband and I combined our households and the second when we moved (our ridiculous amount of stuff) from one home to another. Their office staff is incredible: they took time to come to my house before the move both times and gave an incredibly accurate estimate for a fair price. (And some great tips on packing and being prepared!) They also had the foresight to check out the parking, the turns in hallways, and all the little things that it would be easy to miss. I have no doubt this attention to detail made the difference in assuring my move went smoothly and on schedule. I love they even addressed Bed Bugs. Certainly I said this is an up-north issue. Yes, they explained this is true, but Movers from the South can travel up North or visa-versa and carry the Bed Bugs here. - I know it is a little over the top; but being an informed Consumer makes me feel safe with these movers Sure Load Moving s crew is friendly and professional. They bring EVERYTHING needed to get the job done right: wardrobe boxes to make it fast and easy to move the contents of the closet, bubble wrap to protect delicate glass, moving blankets to pad as needed and protect those perfect hardwood floors, shrink wrap that keeps drawers from coming open and upholstered furniture and mattresses spic and span. They had these large crates on the truck to hold loose glassed and framed pictures that we did not get packed. Oh, and did I mention they are gracious. Like when the world's tiniest elevator went out and they had to carry what is quite possibly the world's heaviest and most awkward desk down the stairs. No problem. No moaning, no groaning, just a cheerful, ""let's get it done"" attitude! Moving in Charleston? I would give these guys a call. more

Please please do NOT use this company - they were terrible from start to finish. They arrived late, tore up my apartment moving the furniture out - stopped for lunch on my time, and that's not even the worst of it.\r \r Once at my new house, they proceded to drop a washing machine (""but it was slippery!"" these professionals complained), ram a couch through a doorway completely gouging the door frame (""that's a big couch!"" they complained again), gouged the hardwood floors in multiple locations, scraped the walls up the entire length of the stairs (""oh did we do that?""), ruined an antique dresser by completely gouging the front of it, broke the leg off another dresser, punched a hole in the ceiling... I could go on. \r \r This was by far the absolute worst moving experience I have ever had - do not make the same mistake I did - go with a company that employs actual professionals more

THE WORST MOVERS. THE GUYS NEVER SHOWED UP IN THE MOVE DATE AND THEY WERE NEVER READY TO OWN UP TO THEIR MISTAKE. THEY CHARGE HALF THE MONEY BEFORE THE MOVE BUT NEVER SHOW UP AND ARE NOT READY TO OWN UP TO THEIR MISTAKE. I HAVE TO GO THROUGH A LOT OF PAIN AND SPEND A LOT OF MONEY BY CANCELLING MY FLIGHTS AND BUYING ANOTHER ONE BECAUSE OF THEM AND THEY ARE NEVER READY TO COMPENSATE ME AT ALL. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THEM IF YOU ARE PLANNING YOUR MOVE. more

I rented my Penske Truck from them , not even knowing they offered Loading Services. well low and behold my other movers never showed. Sure Load Moving stepped up to the plate and got our entire truck loadeed in less than 4 hours. Really enjoyed having them be part of our moving expereince. more

The headline described the thoughts we had moving my mother-in-law from a 3 bedroom range in North Charleston to to Somerby, AssistandLiving. Then after researching some of the available movers, I made the right decision and choose Sure Load Moving. Those guys are terrific and made our task fairly easy. I know some friends of ours, who are moving and without hesitation we recommended Sure Load Moving. - Job well done! more
