We've been going to Superstition Mountain Dental for ten years now, and are totally thrilled with the care and service we receive. If you dread going to the dentist...then switch and come to this office! Call for an appointment, and Janet is the friendliest, sweetest, and most efficient gal...always makes you feel welcome. Dana is my hygentist, and she does an incredible job cleaning my teeth. She's such a delight... she almost makes it ""fun""! Dr. Lovell is so cool. He takes terrific care of my teeth and is always so pleasant and professional. more

JULIE DOES EXCELLENT TEETH CLEANING! 2/16/2012

This is our second visit to Superstition Mountain Dental and it was as good as the first. Needed my teeth cleaned while Wintering in Arizona and we were lucky that we found Julie who has done and excellent job cleaning my teeth. We will continue to come back!!\r Thanks very much Julie !\r more

Highly Recommend 12/27/2011

I appreciate the dental care and service at SMD. The office is ran smoothly, it's important to me to get in when my appointment is(and I always do there)Dr. Scheerhorn has corrected bad dental work from another office and has kept my teeth is good shape for the last 7 years? Maybe even eight. I don't live close to the office but feel it is worth the drive ! more

Caring & Professional 12/27/2011

I really appreciate SMD. I was in a lot of pain due to an absess, and they got me in right away. The staff there is efficient and caring. Both my husband and I have had Dana clean our teeth for many years. Thanks to SMD we still have our teeth! more

The Best in the West 12/10/2011

I am so glad that I was introduced to SMD. I have thoroughly appreciated the cleanings that I have had done by Dana. I had to kid her about being left handed and that was a first for my teeth. Dana came back saying that ""someone has to get to the spots that the right handed people miss"" She is very thorough and personable. Dr. Sheerhorn is one of a kind. He is so gentle giving Novocain you don't even feel it. SMD is a first class dental office and their fees are less then back home in the east . Keep up the good work to the entire office staff. more

Now THAT'S a teeth cleaning! 11/29/2011

It's tough on my teeth being a ""snowbird"". I can't wait to get back to Gold Canyon after being up north for 6 months and make an appointment to see Dana at SMD for the best dental cleaning I've ever experienced. She's one-of-a-kind! I leave the office with a happy mouth that is, once again, on a healthy track. Drs. Lovell and Sheerhorn have set a very high standard in patient care. I feel very fortunate to have my dental health in such capable and professional hands. more

We moved to the area in 2010 and needed to find a new dentist. We were so fortunate to find Superstition Mountain Dental! We have found the entire staff to be very professional. I was in severe pain and needed a root canal. They were able to perform the procedure right away and followed up to make sure that there were no issues! They are the best! more

Best Dental Office Ever 11/1/2011

I've been a patient at Superstition Mountain Dental for over six years and wouldn't dream of changing. Dr. Jon Lovell and his staff actually make the experience pleasant. The office is beautiful and clean, appointment times are always kept, and they continue to show concern and comfort during dental processes. They offer everything you look for in a dentist's office. Great referrals for more extensive dental needs. more

Great Customer Service! 7/1/2011

I have been going to Superstition Mountain Dental since I moved to Gold Canyon in 2002. Dana is the best dental hygenist i've ever been to, I now have my husband, daughter and grandaughter going to her and Dr. Lovell. Yesterday I had a crown done in 1-1/2 hours! Hey, their magazines are good too! An added benefit are cookies when you leave the office. more

Great Dental Service 6/29/2011

I've been going to Dr. Sheerhorn for dental work and Dana for cleaning for six years, and I find them to be very competent and professional. Dr. Sheerhorn does wonderful work with veneers and crowns, and Dana is the most thorough dental hygenist I have ever visited. Janet at the desk is wonderful as well. more

My son has been coming here since 2010 and I just recently began coming here this year. I love eveerytime we come! Its very comforting knowing that they have your best interest at heart. Not to mention that they work so well with toddler children. My son just loves coming to the dentist and I am so thankful because they make each trip as easy as possible. The office is filled with wonderful staff and try very hard to memorize your names as quick as possible! I love this place! more

My daughter and I have been going here since 2008. We've always had a good experience here with our twice a yr cleanings and our occasional cavity/crown work. It's the first place I've ever been where they can complete a crown in one day! Very nice people who work here and they remember who you are! Terri Hensen more

Great experience 6/18/2011

I have been a patient at this practice sice 2005. Ok, I really hate going to the dentist so I tend to just go for my annual teeth cleaning & thats it. Anyway I ended up needing 2 crowns with one turning into a root canal since I waited so long.\r \r I can honesly say this root canal was probably the best one I have ever had done! i actually felt little to no pain, couldnt believe it! Dr Lovell is very caring & is always concerned that you have no pain! more

Five years ago, I had a toothache. Having not been to a dentist (don't ask why) for many years, I took the advice of a friend, and visited Superstition Mountain Dental...a mere 5 minutes from home. While there for the toothache, I decided to have Dr. Scheerhorn do a complete dental restoration evaluation to fix everything from the years of neglect....crowns, veneers, whatever. The estimate was fair, I had confidence in him, and I went ahead with the necessary work.\r \r All I can say is...WOW! Couldn't be happier with the results. Nothing but compliments from everyone (I sound like one of those infomercials). Dr. Scheerhorn was thorough, efficient, exacting, personable, and PAINLESS! Same compliments to the entire staff, from the receotionist to all the assistants...they make you feel at home. The office is clean, modern, and equipped with all the latest dental technology. Since then, I return every six months for cleanings, and the hygienist, Dana, does a great job everytime...she really knows her profession. \r \r I now actually look forward to visiting the dentist office. VERY highly recommended! more

I've had few problems with service and they've always gone out of their way to make the whole dental experience pleasant. We Found a New Dental ""Home"" 6/13/2011

We moved to Gold Canyon in 2002 from a small town in another state where we had the same dentist for essentially the entire 20 years we lived there. We have been looking for a dental office in this area where we would feel comfortable re-establishing that kind of relationship. I think we have found it. The people we have dealt with so far - office staff, doctors, hygenists, etc. - are all friendly and efficient. Their technology seems to be top drawer. I had my first build-it-in-the-office-while-you're-there crown put in today. Wonderful! more
