Superstar Nails

this place deserves a -5 stars review! By the time the rude woman who did my nails was done I was bleeding and sore...all she said was ooooh so sorry! When I went to bed that night I woke up feeling my heart beat in my fingers. I paid $40 to be tourtured basically. Two weeks later (today) I went to regal nails at walmart in bangor it was heaven! When the man there looked at my fingernails which were still purple underneath he shook his head and proceeded to treat me like a princess! I paid $30 for a fill and repair for me and a manicure for my daughter...and it was painless! STAY AWAY FROM STAR NAILS in the Bangor mall. Go to Regal Nails in walmart Bangor!!!! more

I live in Rhode Island but go to school in Maine and I went into star nails for a fill. From the second I got there they treated me poorly. When the man finally got around to doing my nails he kept shaking his head at me and yanking my hands around like I was never in the right position. Once he had to use the drill I started to feel this burning pain coming from my fingers. He cut at least two fingers on each hand! They had poor color choices and when I asked to get a french manicure with colored tips he looked at me like I was crazy. When he had finished painting my nails and I was waiting for them to dry I realized that not only were they still in pain, but where he had filled it in my nails were purple looking. He saw that I was looking at them and kept repeating that it wasn't his fault and that it was because of the people who had put on my nails in the first place. Now I am stuck with and overpriced set of nails that still hurts after hours have gone by, and uneven color to top it off. I don't think this man should be allowed to do nails anymore, especially since I am not the first one to have this experience and since the owner has had complaints against him before. Avoid this place at all costs! Cons: Bad service, too crowded, no attention to customer needs more

I went to star nails at the bangor mall for the first time and got a full set of pink and white or french and I did not like there work at all my nails are not even they hert they have all kinds of air bubles there are clear spots where it is suppose to be white I feel I did not get treated right for the money that I paid I have got my nails done at other place's and it's been to my experince that they are not suppose to hert and you are suppose to like the way that they look and be happy with them not wanting to go some where else to get them fixed Pros: won't go there any more Cons: don't take there time more
