I've used Superior Security and Sound for years, moved, and came BACK to them again. They have NEVER raised my rates and have NEVER made me sign a contract. The fine print you probably need to read is from Ryland and not this company. Many home developers will sell a security system as part of their package, and though there may be a security company listed, make sure of who you're dealing with. In the previous review, their comments to not match the Superior Security and Sound company that I have used at all! There are definite advantages to NOT going with some of the big companies sometimes. Give the little guys a chance! more

Terrible Company - Read the Small Print 2/25/2011

I built a Ryland home and decided to include a security system. I paid more than $600 for the security system through Superior Security & Sound Inc. Per the contract this included installation and equipment. The first GOTCHA I found out after agreeing to their service was the mandatory three year contract that is required. The second GOTCHA is that once you cancel your contract after fulfilling the terms, they want $140 to remove the equipment and $75 to disconect the service. OUCH. STAY AWAY!!! more
