Looking for an Attorney 12/27/2010

Since I was about to purchase a condo for 2011 I figured I look under my credit report to clean it up. Taking a free risk through FreeScore I found out about a T-Mobile account that was activated in September and was sent to collections. Calling the number that was posted, evidently it was disconnected. So Googling the name I called the number for the website. Apparently that number was disconnected too. I'm pissed and irritated because I know the credit reporting agencies might just leave it floating there for seven years. If the credit agencies don't work, T-Mobile is going to receive a wakeup call. more

TERRIBLE - YES CLASS ACTION SUIT!!! 3/10/2009

Superior Asset Management has been contacting me a debt regarding an account with T-Mobile. I cannot get any documentation of this debt from either T-Mobile or this supposed collection place!! I have written them letter after letter and tried to speak to these morons on the phone but they are all too dumb to get that I won't pay what I don't know what I'm paying for! I am filing with the Attorney General (or trying to) regarding this company and will also be trying to contact other agencies. I will definitely be going to that website to try and file a class action suit. They also tell me that my address is made up - here in my twon we have coordinates like W42 S4658 (for example) and because the idiots on the phone have never seen this before this must be a fake address. WOW!! They have also insulted my mother and never ever let you get two words in for what you need! I'm sorry that everyone else on this page is having the same crapload of problems that I am but I'm glad to have found this. They wanted me to take a deal today, but after seeing another post where the ""deal"" wasn't held up to I doubt I will be taking that route. I am filing with everyone possible and will be writing to the credit bureaus to clear my name of this debt. GOOD LUCK!!! maybe we should start a facebook group - hahahaha more

Is there anything a person can do to a company like this? I have told them over 20 times they have the wrong number when they call my home. They don't give up and I'm very tired of this. I have started playing their games and calling and hanging up on them about 20 times per day. I'm so fed up. more

so this morning i got woke up by a call at 7:56 am my time, which is the west coast, and then started getting yelled at by a woman that i could hardly understand due to her horrible accent, about a debt that i had taken care of two years ago. she said that they had sent out 2 letters over the past few months, i have got neither of them and when i asked her to send out another so i could actualy have some kind of info about it, she just raised her voice and said ""why would we send a bill, we're a debt collector, we send letters""... that alone sounded weird. so i asked "" could you send a letter then?"" she said ""why should we incovience our selves by sending another letter?"" they were very very rude, and never really showed me that they are legit. Credit report fraud 8/4/2008

This company placed a bill on my credit report when the bill was actually being taken care of by another company. They started calling my job harassing me and when I explained to them that I had paid this same bill through another company the lady was very rude. It is still on my credit report under superior management even though the bill has been paid off through another company. What are we to do about this company? more

I have been receiving a lot of phone calls from this company saying it was an attempt to collect a debt along with all the other non-sense. I decided to speak with someone to see what exactly this was pertaining too, I was on hold for about 10 minutes when I was hung up on. I called the toll free number that appeared on my caller I.D. and got the company again, however the message I received was that the offices were closed as it was passed business hours. I left a message that if they were going to call me, keep me on hold, and then hang up on me, the least they could do is call during business hours. I think it's a SCAM! They should be CLOSED DOWN. I CALLED IN ON 06/12 ABOT 4:30PM.. I CLEARLY STATED TO THE COLL.THAT I WANTED TO PAY MY BILL OVER THE PHONE, WITH A SIF LETTER I HAD RECEIVED. COLLECTOR VERIFIED MY NAME BUT NEVER DISCLOSED THE MINI MIRANDA, WHICH IS BRAKING FDCPA LAW..COLL SD LETTER WAS EXPIRED AND GAVE ME A BIGGER AMOUNT TO PAY. I ASKED COLLECTOR TO SEE IF HE CAN GET APPROVAL TO TAKE SIF ON LETTER . COLLECTOR RUDELY SD HE CANT DO NOTHING TO HELP ME AND REFSD TO WORK WIITH ME ON RESOLVING THE DEBT, SD HE WILL NOT ARGUE WITH ME AND HUNG UP ON ME!..2ND INBOUND CALL FROM ME, ASK TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER, COLLECTOR REFUSED SD HE CAN HELP ME OUT, ADVSD I WAS HUNG UP ON BY THE PREVIOUS COLLECTOR ..MR. I received a call from Superior Asset Management. I answered hello, the lady didnt hear me and responded with hello so I said yes. She then had the nerve to raise her voice at me saying that i didnt know how to answer a phone and she didnt know if I was a business or home phone. I immediately asked what company she was working for several times, she wouldnt give it to me. She had the wrong number and she asked how long I've had the phone number. She then had the nerve to tell me that I was lying because some man gave them this number for him. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she hung up on me. I called the number back, they gave me a different number for a supervisor. I tried calling many times and could not get a hold of anybody. This company is ridiculous and needs to be looked into. I have never been so FURIOUS in my life!!!! Cons: EVERYTHING!!! more

This company needs to be investigated. Talking to their representative was one of the most awful experiences ever! As a victim of identity fraud, I expected AT LEAST some sort of civility on their end. NOPE! I spoke to a man who introduced himself as Mr. Campbell and he pretty much accused me of being a liar and that I would need to make payments on the outstanding balance. He denied my request for a collection dispute form saying that I'd be rejected and then he refused my request to speak to a different representative and a manager, and then hung up on me! I have never been treated with such disrespect from a customer service agent. I called back hoping to speak to a different agent, but once I gave the new agent my information, Mr. Campbell got back on the phone and yelled, 'You know where I stand!' and hung up on me.
