Super 8 Helen GA

We stay in Helen at least twice a year. The place we usually stay at was book and we were recomended to stay here. Well, the rooms are old and the alarm clock in room didn't work. We rang the front desk for a wake up call and didnt receive one. This caused me to miss an important event at nearby Babyland. more

This hotel was the worst stay of anywhere I have ever been. We had booked for 3 nights. Mistake. The first night was Thursday and was okay. Friday night the law had to be called to the room next door. Blood left on the door all day. We called and asked if we had to go thru another night without sleep and were told no one would be in that room due to having to repair. Wrong. Sat night next door started around 11 pm being loud etc and ended about 3:oo am then started back at 7:00 am. Another sleepless night. The front desk did not seem to care. No sorry for the inconvenience or anything. Helen is okay for one night but no more. Seems to have turned into a party place. Not for a relaxing weekend. I had read that but was not sure. It is true. Also hidden fees added to card when checked in that did not find out about unitl looked at statement. Working on getting them taken off. Will not go here (Helen) again for a long time if ever. Hotel I will not ever stay at again. Only two good things more

yeah it's not the best hotel but for the money it is great, besides all i was really going to do was sleep there. But the staff is great, and responded fast to anything we needed ect like towels ect. our room was very clean and there was more than enough room for your 2 kids to play when we were not out seeing the town. would stay again for sure! more

This is a nice motel in Helen. Its not the best. The prices are very reasonable. I has a covered pool which is nice for the kids. Its also between downtown Helen and the outlet stores. The place is pretty clean. more
