I definitely made the right choice when I took my business to Sunshades! After researching other local tint businesses, I decided on Sunshades which was refered to me by a co-worker of mine who also had a great experience with these guys. It was nice to be able to watch them work on my vehicle as you can see everything they do through the big glass window. That was a big plus for me! I'm picky and I like to know how my vehicle is being handled. Being able to watch them work on my car put my mind at ease. The installers were very polite and answered all my questions professionally. I highly recommend this place for all your tinting and audio needs. Making plans to return for a new stereo! more

If I could rate with zero stars I would!! We took our new car there to have the windows tinted. There was dirt under the tint, bubbles, peeling off the back window and the front passenger window the tint folded over and wrinkled on it! When we contacted Robert the owner we were treated very badly as he yelled, cussed, and hung up on me and my husband several times. We did not want him to fix anything because even after he ""fixed"" one window it still was messed up. So he finally told me to ""come get my money"" and hung up on me. The next day my husband went to get our refund and Robert was not there. He was told he would be there in 30 mins. After and hour and a half and he still was not there my husband called Robert on his cell phone as the number is on his business card. Robert yelled and cussed at my husband and told him he had better things to do than to get to the shop to refund my husbands money and hung up again. So my husband waited at the shop and when Robert arrived he became irate with my husband, pushed him and threatened to shoot him as he reached for something on his hip. My husband at that point left and had to call the police...... All I can say is WOW!!!! Why in the world would ANY one go to this business is beyond me!!! Here is my warning to everyone... AVOID this place at all cost!!! We also contacted another window tint place and when we told them of our experience at Sunshades they laughed as the guy told us he used to work for Robert and that he is crazy! more

Will go back for sure! 10/4/2011

After having tint done on my truck in 2009, I decided to come back and have them do a sub/amp install on my new car. Robert did not disappoint. I called this morning and he got me in right after work. Price was $50-$100 less than best Buy and it was way fast. The owner is personable and has never tried to sell me anything else or changed the price after an install. You should go here if you need one of these types of services done. more

Owner is the BEST! 3/3/2010

I took my husbands truck in before Christmas of last year to have his windows tinted as a Christmas gift. I spoke to Robert the owner, and was told if my husband was unhappy with the work they would redo the work. Robert and the guys at Sunshades are GREAT! Finally a company that stands by thier word. My husband found some problems with the tint and it was a simple phone call and a short drive to have what my Husband wasn't happy with fixed. Pros: Price is competitive with others more

Great Experience - Professional Results 6/29/2009

Robert manages a very clean and professional operation. I had three of my vehicles tinted at Sunshades, my wife's Audi TT, my black VW Rabbit, and my son's GTI - all came out looking amazing. The tint really helps with the scorching Texas sun - and it makes the car look damned cool! I am very picky about my cars, so it is nice when you run into an auto services professional who treats your property with the same care and attention to detail that you do. I highly recommend Sunshades. Pros: Fast, Excellent Workmanship, Reasonable Rates Cons: a little off the beaten path - but worth the effort more

best quality and prices in town! 3/31/2009

In 2006 I bought a Porsche that needed to have Window tint installed. Robert ensured me that his staff would take the best care of my car and DID!! The tint was much better than I could have expected and keeps the heat out of the car without being too dark. GREAT JOB three years ago fellas? and you keep getting better! AWESOME EXPERIENCE 3/4/2009

I called SunShades about 3 weeks ago to try to get a remote start 2-way alarm. I decided to go to them because not only is there location convenient but they could get me right in and they matched the price I had found. They were very helpful. They showed me exactly what I was getting and called me if/when there was a problem. They even stayed late that day to get my truck finished. I would highly recommend them for any alarm or stereo equipment or installation. I was very pleased with this place!!!! Pros: Very nice and helpful people!!! Great customer service! Best Window Tint and Service 8/8/2008

Called for an appt it was fri morning and I got an appt for 12:00 noon,I was greeted by PJ who took his time to explain to me the different type of tints they offered and what the difference was in each type.I was able to go into the shop area where the guys work,it was clean,quite,and cool.I was able to view a car they were working on to get an idea of the one type tint I selected.I asked PJ if someone could take me to pew wei to eat lunch while I had to wait,and they were more then happy to take me! within 1hr I got a call to say my car was ready,I have a Honda Accord 4/door and it looked gorgeous I was amazed at the job they did.I truley do recommend them,Great work,great people,and terrific price with a lifetime warrenty!! Great Work - Fair Price 7/28/2008

I called all around town to get prices on window tint for my new 08 Taurus and found that they all charge around the same price so I ended up picking a convenient location. I called Robert in the morning and made an appointment for the same day. When I arrived he walked me through my choices and explained the differences in all the types of window film available and helped me make the best choice for my vehicle and driving environment. He was very knowledgeable and did not pressure me into the most expensive option. When I left my car with him I informed him that my kids had a dentist appointment at 2:00, so it had to be ready by 1:30 at the latest. I went to lunch and came back at 1:00 and it was ready to go and looked great! I would highly recommend his shop and plan to bring my wife's Suburban in soon to get her windows done as well. more

Best car ipod audio 7/26/2008

Recently I had a my factory radio replaced with a new radio system. The people at Sun Shades did a great job. They installed a radio, a satellite radio, and a car alarm. They did a clean and professional job. They made access to my Ipod and USB flash drive connections convenient and hidden!!! They are very reasonably priced. I was impressed with quality and speed of their work. I am very picky about the way things are done and they met or exceeded my expectation. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wanted quality work done!!!! It is not every day that I can recommend someone like this. I am glad that there are still people who show pride in their work. Pros: Fast, reliable, clean Cons: none that I know of more

Not only is the turn-around time pretty quick, but the work is excellent and the prices are the best in town. The owner and his employees are knowledgeable about film and stereo equipment. They have the answers to all of your questions. more
