I currently live there and moving out by the end of this month. When i first moved in, the rent was acceptable given how old and crappy these apartments are. I dont think the apartments have been renovated in the past 50 years. The AC barely cools in the summer because all apartments have the same compressor. To be brief, when i was paying 700/month, this apartment was perfect. But since it was sold to a big money greedy company, they raised the rent and now i would rather live in a GREAT 2 bdr and pay 1000 rather than this crappy apartment for 1000. Dont let them trick you into buying in the "renovated" apartments. they're just as crappy but with painted doors. Also, the parking lot structure failed about 2 months ago and they just barely started working on it. there are not less than 50 cars that park in this building and only parking spaces for 20 cars. You can never find parking. The management's solution was to tell us to park a block away. Also, if you park anywhere on the property that they dont like, they WILL NOT hesitate to tow you, even though they could just come ask you to move your car. Also, dont even get me started on the maintenance crew. The heater at my apartment was making a loud noise so i asked them to come check it out. We scheduled the maintenance a few days after we talked and it took 2 weeks for it to get fixed. They tell you they're coming today and never show up without even calling you so you're left waiting all day for nothing. Seriously, this place is not the place you want to live in, not even in the renovated apartments. I see how they're "renovating" the apartments and believe me they are not doing anything. they just painted the doors and changed the door handles and raised the rent 200 in comparison with the nonrenovated apartment.
